Honestly I never realized that he was gone.

Are you better than Campbell? I would hope so.

Glad he is back. Simply because if the front office thought enough of him in 2023 and Adam Peters claimed when when he was cut, there has to be something there.

Or maybe it was just Adam Peters on both occasions?
Hope he kicks on, but he's pretty much just replacing the guy who got picked ahead of him so not expecting much.

We don't know the details behind personnel decisions
But I will say it is common for a veteran with guaranteed money to make the cut over a young guy with PS potential
Campbell had 4+ million of his 5 million contract guaranteed
He was a sunk cost already...doesn't mean he was the better LB

We had heard he looked good in his two TCs with us. I thought he looked athletic in limited pre-season duty.
I rather have an athletic young guy in there maybe making mistakes due to inexperience than a washed up vet who cant play anymore.

Yes, common for the FO to try to cover their bases with a veteran FA at a position of need before the draft.
Seems just as common for a young player already on the roster, or drafted after the fact, to excel over the costly veteran in the end.

I hope we have Warner versus ARZ, but I prefer to have him at full strength vs the Seahawks and chiefs and cowboys.

Graham is future LB material and we need to dump DFF Burks and Campbell after this year
Well Burks has been off the team since end of last year, so technically they're 1 for 3
That being said I thought Burks was the best out of these three.
DFF just isn't a starter in the league. Not strong enough, not fast enough, not a standout football IQ wise either. Playing SAM its not that bad as he doesnt log many snaps and doesnt have as many responsibilities. If he starts for Fred at Mike this week this D is in for a lot pain.
Campbell is really, really washed for a WLB who needs to make a lot of tackles in this system though. Opposing teams start licking their chops when they can isolate runners or receivers against Campbell. He has no speed, gets pinned on blocks WAY too often and misses the gaps too often. Sometimes it looks like he's more interested in getting blocked than making a play at his assignment gap.
