Moody can carry it over to the unemployment line. No reason to stick with him over Zane if Zane can hit his kicks and Moody can't.

It would be a waste of a roster spot, but if Moody continues to struggle, you kind of have to.

If it continues in the next 2 pre-season game - then I'm very worried.

He was supposed to be something more than Z Gonzo, if Gonzo was the answer, we wouldn't have needed Moody. Gonzo is the guy if Moody gets a hammy or some weird event. Don't we PS a kicker each season? A lot of teams do, so they can get that guy up on the active roster, if their kicker pulls a muscle.

If we have I never heard about it.

We PS'd Sam Sloman last season, briefly, so if Zane is gone, we can get him or any of the dozens of other kickers. Basically most every club has 2 kickers now. So in a couple weeks, at cutdown, like 32 kickers are gonna flood the FA market, with no team to claim them. Their hope will be PS. Plenty of em out there. So I don't worry about losing Zane, I mean losing Zane would be the plan anyway right? We were gonna roll with Moody and cut Zane. If he's stolen from our PS, that's not very different, than getting cut. He's gone, either way. At least with the PS stash, maybe he sticks around? But if not, no biggie.

Wasn't Zane cut last year for having the yips and shanks too ?

Last night I saw our playoff highlights and Gould kicked 4FGs against the Cowboys. I totally forgot about that. The final score didn't really match how close the game was because I think it was Dre that scored a final turnover TD. Without Goulds kicks it would have been a super tight game.

Moody needs to start drilling kicks down center.
