Its a pipe dream but can you imagine trying to stop Deebo and CMC? Sprinkle in Aiyuk and Kittle (I still think he's an elite TE).

To be honest, sometimes you need to get those playmakers. Look at the Lambs, picking up Stafford, Von Miller, OBJ. We have super bowl caliber team. With Jimmy's limitation, adding CMC will drastically increase our offense.
The losses due to this W are atrocious. The big one is Eman, ACL that is ugly. Then having Nick with the groin,,,just hope he got off the field when the groin started to tighten up. If you want a really bad groin pull, keep playing, Hope he is not out long.

That said, Nick, AA, KIN, Eman , JWard (back 1 play before breaking hand)…gadzooks…and of course Big Trent. Trey obviously gone since 1st qtr of game 2. Enough already. This was a turf stadium and it should be time for every stadium to revert to sod. There's only 3, maybe 5 stadiums left with that b.s. krapt, artificial turf.
Of our starting 4 DLs, we currently have 3 out….and still probably have the best D in the league. And that is a hard fact to believe, but i think it's true. Loss of Eman is going to hurt. Hopefully Nick is back soon.
Summarizing the game, D was OTHERWORLDLY, and OL did a fair job of protecting Jimmy. A lot of that tho was great playcalling by kyle to eliminate plays that are long developing. That is coaching towards our strengths. The O did well, altho OL blocking was spotty at times. Still JG was sacked only once (or was it twice), Meantime our D had yet another 6 sacks., plenty of hurries and some hits. Truly a strong game, but led by the best D in football.

Yep. Great drafting and amazing use of FA and the UDFAs. An amazingly deep team. If only just a modicum of luck with the injuries could come our way, we would be odds-on.
What makes me shake my head in disbelief is how, having assembled a roster which can lose its starting qb, starting rb, starting LT, backup LT etc, and still dominates; and some posters have been calling for them to be sacked and replaced. Unbelievable.
