SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS at DENVER BRONCOS - 2022 Game 3

F**king Russell Wilson. . Not sure how with the reputation this team has for running the ball that they couldn't come up with a run on 3rd and 3 that would have picked up the yards they needed.

Clearly our offense wasn't getting it done tonight but credit Denver's D for some good play. But even with that it all came down to Wilson in the end. We can just never stop that guy when it matters.

Have to say this loss really sucks. Not what I was anticipating at all.

ONE FOR TEN. Yes he was running open on one busted play. s**t happens. The 49ers can't sustain offense and it's not even something we've said this year. Try 2020 and 2021.

Yup. Plus, who traded for jimmy? Who failed to develop him? Who failed to trade him? Who had him practicing by himself assuming Trey wouldn't get hurt or get benched? Who didn't give him a playbook? Who didn't give jimmy reps in preseason? The lack of foresight and planning is a concern. This is some amateur hour s**t.

I totally agree with you guys. Kyle Shanahan is overrated as an offensive genius, and they really did mismanage the whole Jimmy G. thing in the offseason and preseason. It was dumb to leave Jimmy G on the roster, but then shut him out of everything they were doing during training camp and pre-season. Not to say that Jimmy is ever going to be great, but I think he would be somewhat sharper if he had been included in all the regular training camp activities, and taken practice reps then.

Why would you keep him around and give him the team gameplan when you think he's going to Washington??

That was BS, Washington rejects the assertion that they wanted Jimmy. HC Rivera basically refuted it.

In any case, they kept Jimmy G isolated because if he ended up with any other team as expected it was a slight gamesmanship advantage. Everyone knows this. The way Jimmy G ended up staying in SF is frankly weird and unexpected.

If Jimmy doesn't start playing better than tonight it will have made zero difference anyway.

Thing is, Harbs also called offense too tight and relied too much on his defense. Harbs had much better luck with his star players staying available and injury free in 2011-2013, though. I sure would like that back.

Our rushing attack was always on point. We had an incredible oline. I always knew they would put up some points and sustain some drives. They were just always good and I felt like we could win every game. Outside of the 2019 season I have never felt like that about this team under Kyle.

I agree They where out coach and they looked bad. The biggest thing is I think they are out of shape. They run out of gas in 4th quarter. I hate to say it but it was a matter of time before Trent William was injured. I hope its not season ending. Trent has been hurt in 9 of his 11 season so he was going to be out at some point. Are the 49er prepared for him being out? NO not even close. If Williams and McGlinchey are out at same time 49er are finished. Moving Burford maybe ok but then inside is bad shape. I like the team But other team have the book on Jimmy and he is not improving. With all the behind the back media talk it sound Shannon has kind of lost the team. Depending on how year turns out it could be the time to move on for Shannon?? I don't like the Idea but I think that is the realty of the situation.

He picked Jimmy from NE, no? He's had 6.years to do better but the only quality part of the team is the defense. He has nothing to do with that.

Then he uses a current and 2 future first rounders on a QB he can't coach up and is afraid to use, except as a FB. Yah, dudes a G.

Jimmy is no longer good at converting third downs. That was his only productive quality besides a quick release. Jimmy is pretty worthless.

Missing Deebo for 2 TDs and that third down slant thrown behind him if Deebo had a top 15 qb his stat line would be like 8 for 160 yards and 2 TDs

I don't think Jimmy can play much worse. If he can't play better than that put Purdy in there.

Oh Please. They ended up getting Wentz. Nobody is going to say you were our second choice to their quarterback if it's not public and they don't have to.
