Running Backs: At the rate they are going down, Kyle will need to groom a squad of at least 16 of them to make it through an entire season.

The super tough schedule for starters.
No one ever talks about the gimmicky offense. Its great in the first couple quarters, everything is scripted. No doubt taking advantage of unprepared defenses. But late in 3rd and 4th quarters you need guys (quarterbacks) to step up in the pocket and make throws. I just don't see us having that guy. And I am Jimmy fan.
Question: Is it me or is does every throw he makes look like a fade-away? I'm not a QB guru but just an observation. Hoping we can at least match last years success. Go Niners!

Shanahans playcalling.
Defensive collapse at the end of every game because the games are always played so tight due to that playcalling.
The defense is going to give up leads in the 4th and cost us games due to being tired.
I think the same applies to Jimmy in the playoffs. I think mental and physical fatigue weigh on him from having to win so many close games thought the season that come playoff time he can't string together 4 close winning games in a row.
If we had more blowouts in the regular season he would not have to win so many close ones and get as drained come playoff time. If we can win a bye and blow out more teams I think he can win a couple close ones to get us a sb.
It's making him win a ton of close games all season and in the playoffs statistically he's going to drop some in the playoffs.

It has to be injuries. Two games into the season and Jimmie Ward, Kittle, Mitchell and now Lance have all missed some time. That doesn't even count Verrett. Now Ty Davis-Price is going to be out for awhile. So far only Trey's is season ending but it's not a good start. At least this team has a little more depth than past years but eventually the injuries have to stop if this team is going to go far.

His play calling has been suspect late in games, but his play calling also gets the best out of his players. 5 out of 6 years he lost his starting QB. The one year he doesn't, he goes to the SB! I think with our FO/ HC, we are in a good spot for the next few years

Any injury to the Oline and we are really done for.

Injuries. It seems like we can't have all our stars playing together.

This. I don't have a stat, but when it counts late in playoff games, we just don't seem to score. Maybe that's where the design of an offense fails, and greatness of a QB takes over.
