By damn near you mean how they missed their opening drive FG and then never threatened to score again?

Yes that's the one. 3-0 going into the fourth. A much less talented team kept it close due to the (hopefully much heavier) rain.

Is it cool with you if we don't argue the definition of every written word? Ty Ty.

Nah, the Bills are really good. The Rams are flawed just like every other contender in the NFC.

The rams are the reigning super bowl champs. They just got spanked by the Bills in their own house in a primetime game. A game in which the Bills turned the ball over 3 times in the first half.

It'll probably happen to Brady (classic drop back QB's) next. If those two don't have elite OL's it's game over.

We could have a legit shot at winning this division if ours starts growing.

I believe Brady is in for a rough season. One that keeps him in retirement permanently.

With elite QB's taking up so much of the salary cap, it is impossible for teams to build elite O lines and have elite pass catchers plus elite defense.

Me too!

That second part is a very true statement. IIRC, Cohn and others have been touting a % of the cap that once a QB takes up, basically, it ensures their team never wins a Superbowl. And it's pretty low too.

The Chiefs did it with Mahomes and their OL but I can't speak to the rest of their roster.

They had to get rid of at least a couple good pass catchers. Hill was their top receiver and Pringle was a solid red zone threat. Lets see how well a season the chiefs have this year.

For sure! My #1 love is team building strategy (OL is just part of that) so let's revisit this one later.

GB would be another team that fits that same narrative as KC. The difference maybe the divisions in which they compete in though.

Off topic but I am wearing my Nick Bosa jersey in the office today. Lets get this season f**king started.

Good call!

Let's go! I bet your office mates love it.
I hear the forecast is for rain on Sunday. With the limited playing time the Niners starters had in pre season I wouldn't be surprised to see 2 or 3 turnovers.
Wow on the radio just now they said the bears will be 7-point favorites by kickoff on Sunday
They are also saying Fields should ask for a trade? I don't get it what has this dude accomplished that makes people hold him in such a high regard especially compared to lance? I thought he was very very average last year absolutely nothing special but when they talk about Lance they make it seem like he's dirt.

Niners are -7 right now. That's a stupid radio show stop listening to it.

I find that hard to believe. No team is going from 7 point favorite to 7 point dog.

You definitely did
Line is -6.5 currently. That 40.5 under looks pretty appealing
