It's not really jinxed. But there are some good reasons to believe the Yorks probably can't win a Super Bowl. 20+ years and many failures later it's clear they don't have what it takes as owners. To win the Super Bowl at least. They can get you NFC Championship Game losses and Super Bowl losses. But I've never seen any more from them than that.

Tell us, what are some of those "good reasons?"

Watch the last 20+ years. It speaks for itself. Then look at the 5 Eddie D Super Bowl victories. Kind of says it all.

No, it doesn't speak for itself. You made the allegation that there are good reasons. If they are so good, specify them.

For the record, Eddie was in a different era. With no salary cap, he bought whatever he wanted. Since ownership was taken away from him over his illegal gambling dealings, the league has changed the one rule that gave him a big advantage. Hence, no pre/post comparison is valid on strictly Super Bowl comparisons.

So, what are the "good reasons" again?

Watch the games for the last 20+ years. Especially watch the NFC Championship Games and the Super Bowl Games. Those are available on the NFL websites on rewind. You can watch and review those. Let me know how those turned out. I know what my eyes see.
you don't know what you are looking at actually. thats why your take is BS

and its the real reason you can't actually give a sincere answer lol

The "eye test" doesn't really mean anything. When I wake up in the morning I see a ripped 25 year old with 10% body fat. But the reality is i'm 35 with 50% body fat and losing hair. SD does not have a strong argument

He never really does.

😂 and there's the "you have a lot posts" comments. You're a broken record in here. Go bother someone else ( I know you're obsessed with me) or better yet talk about football for once. Not sure why I ever unmuted you to begin with.

FYI my comments are about football until the threads get flooded with PSPs that are narrative driven…you're at the top of that list.

You've said "PSP's" and "narrative driven" a dozen times since yesterday. But I'm the broken record.

The franchise was a mess for many years, that has changed.
From firing Mooch through hiring Kelly the franchise was dysfunctional.

Jed and Paraag fixed the mess.

Anyone 30 and under have only seen 3 winning seasons and no super bowl chips before Kyle, with Kyle, it's 6 winning seasons. Unless you were following the niners at like 1-4 years old. Hahaha

this franchise was a laughing stock and as bad as the browns and jags since early 2000s.

it's been over 40 years since we won our first super bowl and nearly 30 years since our last one. All we know are horrible losing seasons multiple times and how to lose Super Bowls/NFCC games.

in my generations time, this franchise has never accomplished any thing besides losing. It really sucks. I want a super bowl so bad

I'll add that once Jed took over from his dad, and learned some hard lessons, things began to turn around. There was still the Baalke/Harbaugh mess but even that has been purged.

...and now back to BP news and comment.

Jed has done a very good job since he got Kyle and Lynch. Seems like he learned from how poorly that whole Baalke/Harbaugh thing was handled. Good to see him mature as an owner.

I'm curious which season we played in the NFCCG you consider to be a losing season. The Harbaugh years?

This is a Brock Purdy thread but there are 12 posts on this page that don't even mention him. Just people arguing back and forth about something.

I think some are Just upset that our season come depend on a QB who's Inexperienced and has dealt with Injuries In the past.

I'm curious as to what the backup plan would be should Lance struggle or get Injured again?

Either way, I'll be rooting hard for whichever QB Is leading the way.

The QB's that have won the last 4 SB's are Patrick Mahomes, Tom Brady, Matthew Stafford and Patrick Mahomes. So 3 teams that could possibly be laughing at us. However, TB is on the down trend. LAR sold out for a SB and got lucky as hell. Now they are paying for that gamble.

I believe we have one of the best FO's in the NFL. They are smart with the cap and they take care of their own. They have built a great locker room culture of selfless and intelligent leaders. The team is lead by one of the best X' & O's guys in the business. If the defense ends up top 5 again with its 3rd defensive coordinator in 4 years, Lynch and Kyle need to start receiving some credit for what they have built on that side of the ball. We have two young, promising QB's at a bargain price for the next two seasons. These QB's are only going to push each other to get better. The O line ranked in the top 10 in both run blocking and pass blocking this season, after having completely revamped the interior line.

There really isn't anything for them to be laughing at when 90+% of the league should be envious of what this franchise has built.
