He needs to take care of himself. Get the best doctor to fix his elbow right. He has a promising future in the NFL.

Yeah TJ isn't as bad as it used to be but it's still a crapshoot how he recovers. Some never do and like you said some actually throw harder

But I was told ad nauseum all offseason that it doesn't matter what the studies said.....running QBs get injured at a higher rate.

If its a nerve issue, I hope it isn't as severe as whatever Mariota went through after injuring his elbow.
#Titans QB Marcus Mariota tells WGFX-FM in Tennessee that "basically sent my whole right side numb and tingly" after his injury. He describes it as a nerve injury and the team added a QB. This all doesn't sound great for his availability this Sunday vs #Colts.

I'm definitely shook. If the Purdy injury is serious and jeopardize his career after a great first year - its Virgil Carter all over again.
