Do you think every QB takes themselves out of games with what Purdy had?

does Brady do it there? Mahomes? Burrow?

The elbow is the most complex joint in the body, just like with the knee, all it takes is a sharp hit to the wrong spot to leave you unable to function. Doesn't matter how big or strong you are or how muscular you are, its an extremely vulnerable area.

You could be hit a thousand times in the arm and be fine and that one time it ends up in just the wrong spot and suddenly you can't grip anything nor exert any kind of force through the elbow.

lies.

Lemme see, dude is injury prone and still looking like he's learning the position. Now we're gonna hope and pray he can magically perform like Purdy. smfh

Considering Trey hasn't really played much in the NFL and suffered 3 injuries already (broken finger, knee strain, and broken ankle), I don't agree with you on this.

You shouldn't. It was a silly statement made to highlight another. The game is football and injuries happen. When a team like ours suffers as many as we have, best to have as deep a bench as possible.

It's not a matter of pain tolerance or will power, you lack the mechanical ability to grip the football properly. Having a QB that can't hold on to the football or throw it beyond 5 yards isn't going to win you anything.

Yes.

Even if he didn't take himself out he couldn't pass the ball more than 10 yards - we were screwed.

Purdy couldn't throw deeper than like 5 yards. As bad as JJ, JJ was the better option.

This.

All it takes is one hit in the right spot, at the right time, and bam, you've got a serious injury.

Go get Brady if he will take a team friendly contract. I'm sick of seeing all these dudes get hurt

So an expensive and old statue at QB is the fix?

his track record speaks for itself, something he is dependable. something none of our qbs seem to be able to do
No.

With a rookie deal with Purdy we prioritize fixing the right side of our Oline.

and extend Bosa. Hope we have some money left over and redo since contracts and go after a FA pass rusher opposite Bosa.

Purdy played through an ankle sprain in college. Of all the traits of his to question, heart is not one.
Purdy will have to compete this offseason. No starting job will be handed to him. The trade we made to get Trey was to get a superstar at QB as Hurts has been developed into. Now that Purdy did not win the chip he will have to earn his role this offseason. Trey will have to be developed as well because he can be at least as good as Hurts

Dak for as much as he sucked at least he was available when it counted. We need to have options better than Josh Johnson or a one armed QB
