QB Brock Purdy Thread

So - again just on the durability dimension - Brock wins against Trey. What good is a rocket arm and Olympic sprinter speed if you are on the bench rehabbing? I think as ShanaLynch focuses more on durability (as well as talent) for the future - I don't see this teams Superbowl window closing any time soon.

I think Brock has great awareness on how to protect himself and the ball, since he made it through so many starts in college without missing a game - in a power five conference. At least I hope I'm right! Haha

best of luck today! I still think he has a 4td game (3 passing and 1 rushing) - he's going to be AMPED up this game to slay hurts after what he did in college. (To be fair, Purdy threw a really tough pass into double coverage thay should of won the game but the WR let the DB rip it out of his hands/chest area.

This is such a load of s**t. I'm tired on people extrapolating Lance's ability after playing week one in a monsoon. It's just lazy and agenda driven.

we simply don't have enough info on Lance to make any determinations. Any thoughts in either direction are born out of people who have made up their mind the moment he was drafted. Hey everyone, not sure if you are aware, but you don't need to pick one QB to root for, and then hate the others on the roster. So f**king strange and endlessly annoying.

He doesn't understand football, ignore him. He only became a fan after we signed the rapist Jerryd Hayne (that Aussie rugby player)
he's gonna lead us to the promised land

he is The One

Agree. He definitely knows his body "limitations" and knows how to protect himself. Reminds me of RW a lot in that sense

Due to Lance's unfortunate injury JG stepped in and stepped up and won 70% of the games he started this year. Then Purdy took over and is undefeated.

Even if we do not win the NFC championship Purdy is starting next year. There will be no QB competition between Purdy and Lance as there does not need to be one. Purdy is so much more advanced than Lance right now that Lance will not even get a look in.

If Purdy wins tomorrow and wins the SB Lance will be looking for another home because he will get zero first team reps for years to come. You need to be more realistic and stop being such a Lance Tragic. That train has left the station and won't be coming back.

You couldn't resist could ya? Once again you're talking out of your ass.

Yeah Goatie is right. We would have missed the playoffs. So thank goodness for Jimmy G and Brock Purdy. Because they bailed us out. No doubt Purdy is the starter next year too. If you want to win and be in the playoffs.

He certainly was. What a great run. Can't wait to see the competition between him and Trey next year. Gonna be EPIC. And either way, we'll have a great backup, which we obviously need.

So glad he's on our team. Even if he doesn't win the starting job we know we'll e in a good place if there are more injuries.

I just hope and pray that the injury doesn't end the kid's career.
