QB Brock Purdy Thread

If people are expecting any QB to be flawless in the toughest stadium in the league, against a SB caliber team, they are being unrealistic. This was always going to be a tough game.

I wasn't even upset when he threw the INT. It wasn't all on him because the defense was disguised well as they shoewed on the replay. The main thing is he repsonded well afterward . All QBs will throw an INT and what they do afterward determines whether they have the mental makeup to handle setbacks.

Well, Brock Purdy owns Seattle and their defense. The only two losses came when the team was down to second and third stringers last year. Sorry facts
No way anyone can argue this

He's been protecting the ball well this year, which was the only real question with his play from last season (besides missing half the season with an injury).

Can't expect a perfect game against that kind of defense, and he came through when it was needed. That's what games look like against great teams/defenses.

Great disguise, maybe the wrong target to throw to

at least this gives us some tape to work off of

How can anyone "hate his face"? Gross Rams fan eeeww. Interesting, cause I kinda hate Staff's face but because of his character. The complete disregard for a poor lady falling off the edge of the SB stage and he didn't give a flying f**ck about it. That tells me all I need to know about him. Right there. He will never win another SB, I am glad for it.
this is f**king impressive

not a huge sample size, but anyway,... impressive clutch-ness,... that showed in the huge win against the current SB champions

Regarding Purdy's interception yesterday, there's a distinct possibility that either Cowing didn't run the correct route or lost his footing coming back for the football. The losing of the footing, or falling back when he needs to come back to the ball is something that has happened more than once with Cowing.

I know this has been mentioned in other threads, but Cowing is really, really bad. He's only on the team right now due to insane number of injuries to the WR.
I admit that when we got Jimmy G here I got so excited I wrote a few hyperboles about him (can't really blame myself because we were really suck during those times) but with Purdy, he's on another level and there are numbers to back it up.

Great disguise and Cowing didn't appear to be in the right space.

I imagine Brock expects people to be in the exact spot he is throwing to.

Mahomes, Josh and Lamar throw picks. Not sure what the big deal is.
