He isnt. That list of top qbs ever is a short list not 7. If he wins he is top 3, maybe even 1 if he gets 2. Thatswhat i am saying. You could argue he is the best ever if you dont include SB as a metric.

Also people forget or don't realize he played when the position was not nearly as protected as they are now. Some folks who are younger don't know how much different the NFL used to be about hitting the quarterbacks. No fault of theirs, the game has just changed a lot since the 80s-90s to protect the star QBs.

The Giants got him bad twice. Jim Burt in '86 and Leonard Marshall in '90.
