I have thought several times if Walsh were to meet Brock
That was a terriffic game from Purdy other than that INT. The good thing is he didn't let it affect him. He executed the game plan perfectly. The quick passes and strong running mae kept the Rams D and Garrett in check.
Brock plays with the savvy of a seasoned veteran. If you take away the deep middle to stop his elite layered throws, he can patiently beat you with Drew Brees-like check-downs, accurate deep shots to Robinson, and improvisational touchdown strikes to Deebo.

Agree, and really, just give this guy a superbowl defense and he'll win a ton of games and (hopefully) many championships.

That would be nice but the Niners are going to need to do a good job replacing Trent, Kittle and CMC. Mike Evans and Deebo too. Those key players aren't going to be around much longer and will be hard to replace as long as the Niners continue to be competitive and are drafting late in the round. Black is no CMC. Wiliams will be the hardest to replace. He's a true genertional tackle. They'll probably need to sign some free agents to replace those guys.

that's exactly it, this ain't fantasy it's about making plays to win the game. both defenses did well to get depth on their zone and get pretty similar INTs. sometimes defense makes a play. brock was rolling even with a lot of changes to that WR group

If the offense keeps this up, Shanahan will have his best product on the field since Matt Ryan and Julio Jones!!!

How about trading for Nelson as a start
Nelson would be a nice addition but that's not going to replace Williams or any of the other older players.
