That year was screwed but we still had a chance at the playoffs. Idk if he has "tightened" back up if he ever even has. He's one to throw it into tight windows for an extra 5 yards rather than dump it off. Which he's proven he can do, its when he's under pressure he forces it more often than just throwing it away that I think a large part of his ints come from

yes but thats not necessarily a bad thing its a risk reward thing. Im sure thats why the analytics actually dont really care about that because he has been top of those analytics for a while now. They consider those int low value or non game changing

That's my issue though theres quite a few of them that actually are, not most but there are time where I have to ask why he would force it in that situation. I am a fan of the arm punt though, especially now that we have Evans I wouldn't mind seeing Purdy throw it down the field on 3rd down
I just hope Brock becomes as great a qb as Jeff George or JaMarcus Russel someday...
Not an orlovsky fan but finally my boy gets his respect
I expect a better Purdy this season just from how hes been doing in camp.

I wasn't surprised Darnold was ranked ahead of Purdy in the top 100 players but from 21st for Darnold to 85th for Purdy is a large jump. Darnold has a rifle tho. Glad he's finally getting a little recognition
Would like to see him get a series for the game on Thursday.

Go discuss your qb in the seahawk thread, or stfu

He didn't say any of that

It was implied. It also sounds like he doesn't think much of Brian Griese as his QB coach as he says Mick Lombardi was the first person to actually challenge him and try to coach him.

Only BCB would say he could have been so much better after how he performed those years. Fierce competitor

Well, he's right. He was better in 2024 than he was in 2022 and 2023, just the results weren't as good. 2025, after he fully recovered from the toe injury (somewhere around the time we played the Browns or Titans), was the best he's ever played and he'll only be better in 2026.
