Lol. Forgot about the toe excuse.

Yeah, he's only got the highest qb rating in the history of the game, f**king slacker and his excuses...

Highest rated.....and that means...

Toe comment was directed at the webzoners making excuses for issues Purdy was having at the beginning of the season.

Exactly what it means. It means of all the quarterbacks that have played the game he has the highest quarterback rating of all of them. As well spoken as you seem to be, you shouldn't need it explained to you.
Now that training camps are about to start, I would have thought the NFL silly season would be over, but I guess not. When I saw the headline, I thought it would be something from Bleacher Report as it sounded stupid enough to be something they would come up with. I've never heard of the California Post

"A feature from longtime sports journalist Vincent Bonsignore of the California Post generated plenty of buzz on Friday—not because of his evaluation of Brock Purdy, but because of one intriguing claim involving the San Francisco 49ers and Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow. In his feature examining why Purdy must justify his lucrative contract extension, Bonsignore stated that the 49ers are a team to watch if Burrow's relationship with the Bengals ever reaches a breaking point"

He goes on to mention the team's flirtation with Matthew Stafford to support his argument, overlooking for the moment I guess that Jimmy G was their QB when Stafford was on the market. I liked Jimmy, but he's no Brock Purdy. I would have a hard time envisioning a scenario where the team gave up on Brock to chase Burrows. I suppose stranger things have happened though.

Not really an excuse. He injured his toe and he was uncharacteristically turnover prone while recovering from it.

Burrow is hurt every other year. I think the Bengals ruined that guy by putting an even worse oline in front of him than we have given Purdy.

Post like this make me hate this forum more and more. Purdy is easily the best QB we've had since Young, and some people just want to s**t on him cause he's not Allen or Mahomes. Whiny-a$$ bit*h posts.

I am not s**tting on him. Whats nott to like about Purdy. He is a good QB. I just dont over state his ability like many wbzers do.

Looks like Brock has been refining his throwing mechanics. Keeping that left arm in closer to his body on the follow through. That should help with accuracy and velocity.

It's TC and short videos clips but the ball seemed to have more velocity to me.
Heavy as really Brock wants to improve his accuracy.

This! And Allen is a softy, gets deer in the headlights, Mahomes, we would have kicked his ass if not for mistakes/refs? and the Purdy injury, Pat's glory days are over.
