That's your opinion. Not the opinion of other NFL coaches and GMs. That's how that list was compiled so your opinion doesn't matter as far as that list goes. Unless you're a GM or coach.

yes that is my opinion, well done. A+ for you.

Their opinion doesn't matter any more than his opinion.
Exactly, I doubt that info was truly collected by people in the league or had enough consensus to accurately give a ranking

Ya....i would say so as of today. Williamms has potential to be elite.

But dont be dilusional to think be doesnt need players around him to be great. I an not stating the obvious as its a team sport. He need some quality around him.... more than some.

I think having Evans will elevate Purdy's game this season. He's never had a weapon like him.

Plenty invested in the WR group.

I agree. The way Purdy played in the 2nd half of last season, I think he's a realistic MVP candidate should we be blessed with health. The narrative will then return to Brock being elevated by alllllll the playmakers around him.

MVP? I doubt it.
The argument against purdy is always the same: yeah well if he didn't have shanahan he wouldn't be as productive.

It's such an odd hypothetical to use against someone
Dak and Caleb are not better than Purdy. Absolutely no way. Purdy is tricky because he doesn't have elite physical skills. But they are pretty good. He can be a very accurate thrower. Pinpoint on timing and anticipation. There is something to that. His 10 yard spit is impressive and he can buy time scrambling or get some yards. He's not terribly weak on arm strength but not terribly strong. He's not Doug Flutie but not huge either. It's a complicated question. He does a lot really well and even some off schedule things. But not elite physically. Which will always hurt him in the rankings.

Having Josh Allen above Patrick Mahomes tells you right off the bat how stupid the rankings are. That doesn't make any sense at all.

Kind of weird, but I don't think Caleb has a great argument to be ranked above Purdy, at least yet. That said, I might take him over Purdy projecting into the future. It's a tough call because Caleb is more talented, but isn't as cerebral a player as Purdy. There's no guarantee he ever gets there either.

Dak I think has an argument to be ranked above Purdy, but I'd personally prefer Purdy.

I mean if this isn't a legacy rating, and just talking about last year, mahomes would probably be ranked about #20.

It's why the offseason QB ratings lists are always odd. They give benefit to legacy QBs they like even if they didn't have good season last year, but then also recency bias for guys like Drake maye.

Seems like the only QB who gets neither benefit is purdy

MVP? I doubt it.

In his 2nd year, he was one of the leading candidates for MVP. It's not a crazy position, that in his fifth year, he is once again. Sometimes I wonder if people just forget how good he can be.
