more often than not, Josh Allen has proven he possesses the choker's gene, not the clutch gene. not sure scheme can fix that.

Meh...that's a take I guess but if you dig into it when you get your team a lead with 13 seconds left and you lose that game is that a choking gene?

I think scheme definitely fixes things as well by making his normal much better which reduces the need for him to be superman. We know he can be that but when you're forced to do that more often the chances of mistakes on those types of plays go up.

Regardless...I'm very happy with Brock as our QB and I believe he will continue to improve just like Allen and Lamar did. He will just always be limited due to the physical traits but similar with what I said about Josh above, if Brock executes the normal at a high level, there is no need for the superman stuff(even though he can do some of that as well just no at the levels of those guys)

He just needs to stay healthy. Biggest thing.

There many instances where he fumbles, throws an INT or something he does to lose big games.

That happens to QBs who have to make a lot of plays to win close games. Eventually things go the other way. Especially when they have to play out of scheme so often.

If we're being honest the path to the SB that Brock has had vs the ones Bills deal with are pretty different. Having to battle the Chiefs(a team we clearly struggle with) every playoff run or Burrow/Lamar is a tough ask.

I just find it silly that we go to bat for Brock in regards to talent around him last year but then ignore that Josh Allen hasn't really had elite weapons the years he failed to get it done. Certainly not on the level that Brock had in 2023.

Yes Diggs was a great one but outside of him the guys Allen was putting up those numbers with turned out to be nothing special.

Cole Beasley, Gabe Davis, John Brown, Isaiah McKenzkie - these are not exactly top tier weapons. Allen had to create a lot. I hate when people come after Brock for stuff like that so I don't see why Allen would be any different.

Nobody just brings him up to tear him down. It's always a Brock hater who brings up their ringless prince. Not a big mystery why 49er fans proceed to rip the ringless wonder. The way he's talked about there's no excuse for him to not have a ring. The only explanation is that he's not as good as he's hyped up to be
