I don't think Darnold is better than Purdy. But in my eyes, Darnold did all of the above against the Rams in the NFCCG. He played out of his mind in the biggest game he'd played in at that point, got nothing out of the run game, and was nails.

I definitely tipped my hat to him in that game. His showing a couple weeks later in the super bowl was, meh. But he absolutely balled out in the NFCCG.

I think you need to go back and rewatch the game...it was a good showing for sure but far from the scenario I mentioned.
