lol what game did you watch? Purdy was f**king clutch when it mattered on 3rd downs. he was 9 for 11 for 88 yards. 8 were for 1st down, the other for a TD. he also had a rushing TD on 3rd down.

it boggles my mind what some of the fans on this forum see when they watch the NFL. blinded by fantasy football stats.

Awesome on third downs against the best defense in the league. With bad weather and no pass protection whatsoever. This was an extremely good performance by Brock whether anyone wants to admit it or not. Just give props where it's due. That throw to Kittle was ridiculous as well as a lot of of his third and long throws

Yeah I don't need to pretend it was "extremely good" like I said he was good but people saying he was anything other than good as usual are just being homers. He is literally a 50M Jimmy G. Sorry I'm not going to get hyped about 168 yards and 2 TDs which thankfully the special teams on both sides set the offense up nicely for. He made the right throws and didn't force the issue hence he managed it well today. But that's what the 49ers need. They don't need hero Brock. Literally just be a game manager and stop forcing s**t.

Jimmy G wouldn't convert that many 3rd downs against a D like Cleveland.

No dig against Mac Jones, but I doubt he makes a play like that. Though he certainly might have helped them score in some other way.

No turnovers and wasn't throwing a bunch of yolo balls…arrow up Brock!

These were a plus for sure. Though there was a few times I felt he passed on CMC to bail out of the pocket that eventually led to throw aways.

He didn't put the ball in harms way. He threw the ball away and out of bounds.

While far from great IMO I will agree today was a step in the right direction
You really can see the idiots here who judge a player by stats and fantasy points🤡 excuse me for a qb not throwing for 300 plus for 4 tds against one of the best d in the league, tough weather conditions with the most dominant defensive player on your ass
Just finished watching the game. Fabulous game by Brock. He's deadly when he doesn't turn it over.

This week on First Take/First Things First/etc is going to be soooo much fun. You're going to INSTANTLY be able to tell which "analysts" are for real and which ones aren't just by how they critique Brock this week.

If they say "he struggled against the Browns" or "didn't play that well" then you will INSTANTLY know that they're a completely fake fraud analyst who just looks at box scores and doesn't watch any games.

It's going to be glorious. Remember what these "analysts" say about Brock this week!

Of our 26 points

16 yard drive 7 points
32 yard drive 6 points
18 yard drive 7 points
29 yards drive 3 points

That's 23 of the 26 points we scored.

The drive before the half was excellent. His play overall was improved. Nothing great. Also Nothing bad. The conditions and the opponent were an obstacle for sure. Just think we should pump the breaks a bit on how great of a game he played and on if he's truly back. This game was merely just a step in the right direction.

We were 11/17 on 3rd down and 3/5 scoring TDs in the Red Zone (with one of those fails being the end of half FG). That's pretty damn good considering the frigid, windy conditions and the absurd pressure rate their d-line got. I thought it was the first game where he really looked like himself since the toe injury.

The running game was also getting stuffed. Most of those 3rd down conversions were of the long variety. High degree of difficulty out there that some fans just don't seem to acknowledge.
