See, your not looking at the right plays though. He extended A LOT of plays. He threw the ball AWAY instead of trying to force it. He ACCELERATED in the pocket to find a ledge downfield instead of standing like A STATUE which is what Kyle is coaching. So he is getting back...to himself.
It's a step forward. A step toward CONFIDENCE.
Today is a plus.

Solid all round performance from Brock today. He took care of the ball and made some big plays when needed. Arrow up.

Played the game pretty much perfectly. Took whatever was there, and protected the ball by throwing it away if nothing was open. Several huge throws on third down and especially going into the half.
Considering the caliber of defense we faced, 2 touchdowns and no turnovers with 26 points overall on a D giving up less than 17 ppg, it was a grade A performance to me.

He did exactly what I wanted to see. Took care of the ball and threw it away when it wasn't there. I don't care about the stats. I know he can put up yards. The question was he going to keep making stupid decisions with the football. And today his decision making was great, especially for the game that we were playing.

Did what he had to do to win a game like this. Congrats on him doing that.
Still need to see him have a big game in the air, and the Titans game is primed for him to take advantage and look like he did back in 2023. Lets see if he can keep improving and not have another multiple interception game.

this is exactly what he needs to do. very good game imo especially in context of him throwing picks in situations that are not needed on monday. and you saw mobility that made him escape pressures that otherwise statue qbs would often be sacked by

he played exactly how he needed to against a ferocious pass rush. if he keeps up with this kind of patience he will be much better than up and down and better prepared for the playoffs

Solid Game, didn't force the ball or put it in harms way today

There was one scramble where I thought he looked hesitant to run. Then later he looked to be moving well within the pocket. That is when he is at his best.
It looked like he made an effort to be more careful which I appreciate. His throws seems to be more crips. I didn't see the wind affect him. I did see it affect. Sanders.
It was a good step forward considering the opposing defense and weather.

He missed a few throws, but played well otherwise.

Very good game from Purdy. Clutch when it was needed, and all around he made some good decisions facing a top DL and defense on the road in tough conditions.
