He's dealing with turf toe and that is clearly impacting him, but he still managed to guide this team to victory. We probably lose tonight with Mac Jones.

He's been throwing the same stupid passes since last season. Has to do with thinking he has the arm that he doesn't. And lost tonight with mac jones? We started scoring and moving the ball again when we went back to dink and dunk game and taking the ball out of brocks hand.

Game manager skillset with a gunslinger mindset. Ouch. That fits Brock perfectly.

He does probably need to remember that he doesn't have Aiyuk out there anymore. Aiyuk probably comes down with the ball on each of those plays. His interception % shot up almost the moment Aiyuk got injured. If only Paraag hadn't sabotaged the team's relationship with Aiyuk. We could really use a healthy Aiyuk right now. Hopefully a miracle occurs and Aiyuk comes back this season. Purdy with Aiyuk isn't throwing these interceptions. Aiyuk.

I'm sure that's a factor. The offense as a whole would be better with a quality BA. But I also think Defenses know his tendencies. They know he likes those routes over the middle and will take them no matter what.

Either way, Purdy needs to re-evaluate the throws he can and cant make.

Kyle on Purdy's end zone pick.. Despite a guaranteed 10+ yard scramble right in front of him.. looked like that level of unconscionable disbelief teetering on the brink of psychotic rage. Kyle definitely wanted to scream some profanities.

Purdy had a nice methodical drive to start the game. After that he kept going for the shot and while taking the one on one is generally not bad, he didn't give his receiver any chance at those balls, and you can't pass on the guaranteed play unless those shots are actually open and high percentage calculated risk.

Teams crowding the middle and baiting throws there. We need to throw more screens and rollouts to the sideline to open the middle back up.

The tendency to make boneheaded decisions with a weak arm is just an awful combination.

He needs to cut this s**t out. Needs to take the underneath stuff, take occasional shots to open guys, and use his scrambling ability. That's what makes him a good QB. Whatever TF he's doing now is going to get him benched.

His best game is dinking the ball to CMC or finding Kittle in the flat that's it. You'll never win anything significant with a poor game manager like those chump. At least Mac can sling it with ease, he still gives us a better chance of winning this year.
