Perhaps not peak Purdy levels but he's more than serviceable in this offense even with most of our stars both sides of the ball sidelined. May as well play Mac all year long
Agreed. Considering what he's had to work with offensively for the majority of his starts, he's performed admirably.

Can you imagine him with a good oline and a full roster of healthy WRs? I think he has the juice

Are we going to trade him to some team that has those things?

Guys here are affraid to see Mac with real weapons at receiver because he will show what some of us already know.

Probably better not to make LA his warm-up game next week. Mac has already proven he can beat the Rams. Give Brock another week and give him a go against Arizona.

Agreed. Mac is playing well and is tough as nails.

If Brock wasn't that close this week then I doubt he'll be close next week. Personally think him practicing is doing a lot of damage and preventing healing.

I feel the same.

Just shut him down for the season. It's over.

Sounds like pain tolerance if he does play. That's risky.,

Yep and it's frustrating af, who are these dumbasses at top who cleared him to do all of this? Really, it would be good to know. Best qb we have had in three f**king decades and they roll the dice on turf toe--when they know how bad it can be and how worse it can become. It's total b******t. Would this have happened with Mahomes? I doubt it. Ridiculous .

We should stick with Mac. He has a better arm and is more of a pocket passer. He doesn't do all the backyard football play like Purdy, which is fine with me. I'd rather have him sit in the pocket and read and throw.

I don't think we'd be in this position if Purdy was playing.

Call me a Purdy homer but I disagree so much with this.

We're either 6-3 or 7-2 with a healthy Purdy. An argument could be made that Mac beats the Jags Week 4 instead of a hobbled Purdy but otherwise Purdy when healthy can clearly make more throws than Mac.

With that said, we're VERY fortunate to have Mac. This season would be cooked by now otherwise.

If Brock were doing what Mac is doing right now he would get 0 credit. All credit would go to cmc and Kyle. The throws/playmaking aren't impressive enough

I'm sorry but seeing stuff like this is absolutely hilarious when fans were screaming for years that they wanted a QB who could make plays off script.

A reminder we don't make the SB in 2023 without Brock playing off script. I'm excited for Mac's play this year but we won't always get to go up against teams with trash back 7 to dice up.
