Is it a turf toe? Fractured toe? Dislocated toe? Which toe?
Just bad luck

I'm so dam frustrated with this injury crap!!! It's every year every year! F ing season is over before it starts sure is a lot to look forward to. And oh yeah Brock is sturdy enough to be an NFL QB if the f ing Oline would block somebody!!! Mac Jones won't stand a chance behind this Oline he will get blasted he has no mobility at all. WTF is wrong with Kyle? It's like he said "my Oline sucks so let's get the least mobile QB we can to backup Brock. F It!
I'm bout over Kyle and his not drafting OLine get it done or move on!!

Every injury a Niners player gets it always turns out to be worse case scenario. Other teams players get what you think is a very serious injury and they turn out to not miss anytime. Thankfully atleast we signed a competent backup who has started games and won. Imagine if we never signed Mac Jones, how dire this would be?
At least we will draft early
Hope it doesn't need surgery

Does Brock have the body to take the rigors of the NFL week in and week out? I believe he can play at the NFL level, he's shown that. However I am far less convinnced that his body can take the rigor of playing at this level. Perhaps, just perhaps, that body is just too fragile. He seems to have had a lot of injuries over the last several year and with the OL the 49ers have, I only see more and more injuries coming for Mr. Purdy. This team a Super Bowl team? Nope they are not. Love the Niners have since 1972 but I have to say, this team is not an elite team and regardless of what other fans may think, they'll show they are not. Playoffs? Maybe because of their schedule but if they don't dominant most of the teams on their schedule which I don't expect they will, they will be a one and done in the playoffs.

I agree. I just don't think his body is capable of handling the grind of the NFL. I have a feeling this contract is not going to age well at all either.

But these injuries would be so much easier to stomach had they not blown those two SB's. At least we would be at 7 and greatest NFL franchise.

Now, the team is looking at a long rebuild after a good, but not great several years.

I don't think it's "does Brock have the physical body to handle the NFL?" I think it's does Brock have a legitimate OLine to block for him? He was pressured all game long this OLine is the problem not Brock's physical stature.
Welp.
