QB Brock Purdy Thread

At least now we can stop acting like Purdy is going to sit out.

Any threat of holding out got immediately extinguished the moment Kyle got Mac

lol no...it never existed because that's not the type of guy Brock is.

The 49ers have had the leverage in this right from the start. They want Purdy but he's under contract for the upcoming season so he has to play. He's not going to sit out and ruin hs chances of getting a good contract in free agency in 2026. It's to his advantage to play and have a good season after what happened last year.
Good for Brock. He's a good guy. He can now tell Lynch straight to his face get this s**t done.
Being in house is easier to sign the contract
I wonder if his agent is screaming at him to not participate in any team activities until the deal is signed. I think most would discourage it, but seems like Purdy is making his own decision.
Brock has been one of the lowest paid players on this team the past few years. He doesn't understand leverage?? 😂

If I were in his position I would have been the first player in the door this morning. Anything he gets will be an amazing pay increase.

What I don't like about this: so what type of guy is George Kittle?

These moves are about business, it's not personal. So why catagorize our players as good guys or bad guys based on business decisions?

Business decisions don't negate principles or virtues. People tend to extend understanding from their own point of view and perceived greed.

It is like greed-empathy.

Acting like Brock should be worried about his spot due to Mac Jones.

Hungover from Wrestlemania. He'll show eventually.
Total respect to Brock, he's got ultimate integrity.
He showed up because he wants to leverage every advantage to win. The more time that he spends with his receivers, the more in synch they'll be. Off to a good start. Looking forward to a serious run at glory this season.
Some excellent news that this franchise desperately needed! I hope we sign him very, very soon.

THIS is the kind of behavior that should be rewarded—not holding out until September 2nd posting cryptic Instagram photos and worshipping players on other teams, and then getting overpaid anyway just to suck.
