One of the weirdest Mods on Web zone of all time. Calm down, you don't need to defend and respond to everything, especially when the conversation wasn't directed at you.

mods are allowed to post and this is a forum where people are allowed to respond to whomever they see fit. Now feel free to provide some of those missed throws you've been harping about.

Has a tendency to attack the poster instead of the posts. As soon as he disagrees with your assessment, he'll start posting about your lack of knowledge. Take it a step further, and he starts threatening with TO calling your posts spam. Of course, all the posters that agree with him and just post about how everything is great never get the same "warnings"….

Seeing what the team is doing, I am ok with them giving Purdy whatever. They aren't competing next few seasons and the older stars will probably be done in a few seasons. By that time, they will know if Purdy is the guy.

Watch the game game again. It was one of his worst that season outside of Baltimore. One of his lowest comp % games to. He had a few throws at the feet of WRs.

Quit baiting and just do your job. I wasn't engaging with you

He has spam all over the last page replying to like 5 straight posts where the post wasn't directed at him. Lol

My "job" doesn't preclude me from posting. Something I've done here for years. It's also not my job to look up plays you clearly remember vividly enough to say Brock missed easy throws.

Many QBs had their worst games of the year against that defense. It tends to happen when you have a dominant defense from player personnel wise and coaching wise.

But if you're going to come in here and claim certain things then back them up. And those requests have nothing to do with me being a mod.

Yeha, on both.

But that was a messy game for Brock. Missed some easy throws he made before that season to keep the chains moving

How did the MVP of the league look at his house against that same defense? Show the easy throws he missed.

Brock is always held to a higher standard than guys like Lamar and Allen (before you guys flip out I'm not saying Brock's better, he's just held to a higher standard)

Just handling a playoff/SB defense for 4 quarters is not realistic. You gotta strike when you're rolling, and CMC and Trent blew those drives with fumble/penalties. Then Spags put the shackles on Deebo/Aiyuk and made Jennings do everything

Take it to the PMs where you can complain about me to your hearts content. If you don't like getting called out for bad posting then make posts that are filled with actual facts and not hyperbole with nothing behind it.
We could save a lot of $ by moving on from Purdy or just franchising him next year. What's the rush on signing him, oh there is no rush.

Every team can save a lot of money by getting rid of their franchise QB but it's probably not a great idea.

Franchising him next year is not a real option unless we want another exodus of talent. I think the QB tag is projected to be like $48 million next year. This year Brock is playing for like $5 mil. A new deal allows us to move the cap hits however we want and odds are they wouldn't want to give him the big cap hits early due to some of the other big $ deals we have on the books now and would likely push it out where hopefully it's when the young guys are still under rookie deals so you have room to add more.

If you franchise him that's $48 right on the books you have to deal with. It's in the best interest of both parties to avoid that.

I think it's pretty simple - if the 49ers think Brock is their guy. You get this deal done and sooner gives you clarity and lets Brock know he's secured and can go out there and do whatever he needs to do to get ready for the season.

You use it as leverage to sign him now.

Extending players that have outperformed their rookie contract once they're eligible is what good orgs do

Jed and Paraag are running the show now though so who knows what they'll do. Redskins had to get rid of their owner that thought it was smart to play those games before finally seeing success

Back what up? There stats and video from that game?

It is self explanatory.

Quit trolling and find someone else to spew your BS takes on. Tell the what Kurt Warner thinks also.

We have more than $48 million sitting in the dead cap space bucket, so we aren't using that $ anyway. We can build around Brock in these drafts while not being stuck with a crazy QB contract. We can also cut ties if he can't do it without a superstar cast around him. We can always sign him to a FQB deal later.

I hear you, but it looks like we are changing our strategy.

You are correct, Buckner wasn't rewarded and we never recovered from it.
