I still think he hurt his wrist in the first half
hitting a D player on his release, and it took some zip off his throws. You could see him stretching and rotating it constantly between throws.

Because if he has a bad game, it opens it up for "insert poster's QB of choice" to be the starter.
He did just fine, all the overweight people on the couch need to shut the hell up.
To be frank, I'm actually excited that the "worst" game he's had was still a really good game against a team that was desperately fighting to not get eliminated from the playoffs. We got to see what he needs to work on.
Now he can go work on things with Brian Griese and come back stronger next week.

His worst game so far, but it was just bad overall for the whole team.

The bad is that he missed several open receivers for big gains however he was calm and poised in the first highly-streesful game of his career and we can see how agressive Kyle is calling plays for BCB.

Far from great today, but surely an upgrade from Jimmy as a football player.
I dont see Shanahan being ready just yet to attach the next 10+ yrs of his career to what he brings, talent-wise.
But he gives you a chance in the playoffs if nothing else.

Yah the ones that want Jimmy to play again for the 49ers.
Do what now? The ones I see tearing down Purdy are the same ones I saw tearing down Garoppolo. Just look a little higher at 49erRing's post for an example.
Nobody is tearing him down lol.
"Continues his trend of getting a little bit worse each game."
Looks like you've got a story in your mind that you're trying to sell...
That's reality. That's not "tearing him down".
f**ked up reality you live in. Notice the prevailing sentiment from the rest of the forum? You're the outlier here; probably need to check yourself.
A fan forum doesn't live in reality, so that doesn't really say anything. I haven't even said he played bad. He played OK, not great, but not terrible. It was his worst start.
"That's reality." Moments, later, "a fan forum doesn't live in reality, so that doesn't really say anything."
Stupid post after stupid post. Enjoy the win and watching this dude lead the team into the playoffs. Your bias is making you miss out in a big way.
Maybe breathe a little and try to comprehend things more before letting your emotions get the better of you. The consensus here is that Purdy has been perfect and nothing is his fault, which is not reality. Acknowledging that he has flaws is not tearing him down nor does it make it hard to enjoy the games.

Trying to troll with a little personal bait? How old are you?
Show me a single poster saying he's been perfect and without fault. The last few pages are filled with people acknowledging that he left plays on the field and made some bad decisions but that he's playing well overall. You're the lone voice of insanity trying to paint a picture that he's faltering.

You must not post here very often, otherwise you would know that driving the length of the field and putting your team in a position to win the game with time running out only to have your kicker miss a field goal doesn't count for anything. Just check out the Jimmy G. thread and you will find all kinds of "knowledgeable" posts explaining how that works.

Wasn't his best game but then again the whole team was off. Still had the balls to put the team in position to win at the end of regulation.

other than that he passed a few more tests to give us winning chances

Calm down. Nobody needs to say directly he's perfect to make it clear that they think that if they get upset like you're doing over even the mildest criticism.

Anyone who critizes him after this game is naive. He had to drive the ball down the field with 65 left to get them in field goal range. He did that... Was it his fault Gould missed??
Was he perfect, no, but he performed when he needed to
