Ambry Thomas, Ronnie Bell, our damn kicker...
Jake Moody 2023: 21-25 FGs (84%), 60/61 XP (98.4%)
— Where's the defense? (@kittlefacts) January 8, 2024
Robbie Gould 2022: 27/32 FGs (84.4%), 50/51 XP (98%)
Overall:
Moody: 81/86 (94%)
Gould: 77/83 (92.7%)
But not a word about Gould last year and people want him back even now. Moody has done just as well this year
🤔🤔🤔
ambry has come around - he's blossoming under wilks. Ronnie bell is still a rookie but has a lot of promise, I just don't want him in jennings role these playoffs are all. The kicker worries me because he's a rookie but I think he will be just fine long term.

I don't believe NY ever hated on Brock. Guy had a handful of games to show us what he could do and was coming off a major elbow injury. It was not crazy to want to see a proper competition to make sure 49ers got the right guy for them long term.
They got the right guy for them long term. Now we know. Everyone should be on board now. Absolutely no reason to give people a hard time for wanting to see more from months ago when there was a ton of uncertainty about the QB position.

I thought it was because we haven't seen him around much this season except after the 49ers lose.

Stop giving him clicks. He's saying these things to rile you up and get views/clicks, and it's working.
Nick the dick. What a dick. What a dick.
Tom green looking MFer lol
i could give two s**ts about what any of these daytime sports "analysts" have to say. Some of the dumbest minds in sports. Good for them to find a way to make $$ off doing/knowing nothing.
Pretending to be a Purdy fan again?
Pretending that everyone hates your favorite QB again?
I didn't say hate. But hundreds of posts about lack of arm talent and then dozens of "I told you so" posts in the gameday thread after interceptions or bad plays is enough evidence for me. NY demands a tall, fast, big arm QB; which Purdy is not.

Both of these. I'm not the only one who see the hypocrisy.

Someone having a different opinion of you doesn't give you the right to question their fandom. Even if he did think Trey played better than Purdy, which I don't think he did, it doesn't mean he doesn't like Purdy.
Heck, I was a fan of Trey and I disagreed with some of NY's points, and I voice those disagreements. Specifically the point about a players upside. I said having superior physical traits alone doesn't mean you have more upside. There's lost upside in someone's mental capabilities as well. Purdy's processing alone probably gives him more upside IMO.
This is a weird time now because it's almost unanimous that everyone loves Purdy, while Jimmy and Trey were two of the most controversial QBs in NFL history, not just on the 49ers.
Your threshold for how much criticism is acceptable doesn't really matter. I think criticizing someone's take is fair, but Jimmy is gone, Trey is gone, let's just be objective what we're seeing. We're all fans of the team and Purdy is clearly playing at the highest level since Garcia or Young.

If NY was doing a troll job like Cortez or others like him do in the Kyle threads I think it does. Or if NY bet on other teams to win the SB because he didn't think Purdy was up to it.
Otherwise I would agree.

lol I actually like Nicks takes sometimes.... I don't agree with his Purdy takes this year, but it was just opposite of whats happening now when Jimmy was the QB... it was Nick just saying Jimmy G doesn't have it with chris bossard bringing up stats of Jimmy G saying he does have it or is a great qb....

I asked Peyton Manning: If he could play for a modern NFL coach, who would it be?
— Kevin Clark (@bykevinclark) January 9, 2024
"I'm probably headed out to San Francisco." Peyton watched *two hours* of film with Kyle Shanahan in 2012 during his free agency. This breakdown is so good. THIS IS FOOTBALL is elite today. pic.twitter.com/U39xc0vWx8

As of now, Moody's still perfect as well.
