Yea, it was obvious from your first response to my post that you weren't hitting on the point of the post.

The only fact here is that Brock's deal can't be renegotiated until after the end of next year so opinions on whether that's a good or bad thing for us are moot.

Brock didn't expose Trey. Brock exposed Jimmy.

Brock was miles better than both and that's why they are both gone now.

No one is rooting for Purdy to fail here.

Yes he exposed Jimmy as well. And of course he exposed Trey, why he got traded lol. Some just can't accept it and admit they were wrong (as I did with Jimmy). Instead they prefer to pretend to root for Purdy, but come out with the truth in spurts when he's struggling.

But yes, please continue to defend people who say Purdy is "trying his best" and will "have to prove it all over again next season." Comedy.

We have a generational QB on our team who is putting up historical numbers, and you and few others are sad because he's not that tall and can't throw the ball 70 yards. And you're accusing me of crying? Lol okay.

I wouldn't call it acceptance when you see the only difference between the two QBs is one is more ballsy. Not one is more accurate, better at reading the field, more athletic, more intelligent.

I'll give them a slightly larger pass than the hypothetical anti Brock crew, simply because there's a bigger sample to form their Kyle 'can't win' opinions.

It would be like a 1/10 argument instead of a 0/10 though, lol.

It's quite the hypothetical.
I know, I know who cares about the MVP award, but stil can someone make this make sense?

Actually Trey exposed Trey. If he had played well and hadn't been injured so soon then Brock may have never had the chance to play. Trey just wasn't ready for the NFL and may never be. Kyle saw what he saw in practice and realized that Trey wasn't going to be the QB they expected. He and John swallowed their pride and moved on. It's not an easy thing for GMs and HCs to admit they screwed p on their 1st round pick and then turn to Mr. Irrelevant to bail them out. Brock got his chance and made the most of it.

Purdy is hands down better than Trey in every one of those aspects.

Was Trey not ready for the NFL, or was he injured too soon? Because you're saying both things simultaneously which is strange. The consensus was Trey needed time to develop, Kyle's scheme was complicated, etc. Well Purdy blew those excuses out of the water and made Trey expendable. Same with Jimmy (for different reasons).

Good info. Cleaned it up a bit to see the stats and differences more clearly. Purdy is still the MVP in my mind, if you take the entire season into account.

Because 2 reasons:
1. You are not including rushing yards
2. Lamar won head to head late in the season and it was unfortunately Brocks worst game of the season, by far.
Based on passing stats alone, Brock would absolutely deserve MVP

Too bad MVP is a popularity contest and isn't actually based around facts.
