The 49ers are 4th in the entire league converting 3rd downs, converting at a 46.4% rate.

The 49ers are 21st in the entire league at stopping 3rd downs on defense, allowing a conversion 40.6% of the time (that number is slightly worse over our last 3 games).

Ultimately it's both but I think this is a great point, our offense is doing a great job moving the chains when it gets the chance, but getting dominated in the time of possession battle has limited our opportunities and we have squandered too many of those limited opportunities we had with turnovers or missed kicks.

Our team has not played clean, complementary football for the past three games.
