Is there a chance he's only the next Gardner Minshew? Dude had an even better passer rating through his first three games than Purdy has (though he went 1-2 in those three games and I don't have the tape in front of me to confirm Minshew looked better).

Minshew can be a starter in this league

Manning... brees... lmfao relax guys.

We're talking play styles here. Obviously he's got a long way to go before he can be mentioned in the same regard as legendary Hall of Fame QB's.

Why does this have to be explained? Lol

Right? LOL.

That's kind of the million dollar question that we'll get to answer. It's essentially the debate we're all having when we look at Purdy. Is he for real? Is he a valid QB option? Or just a stop gap, that's just good enough to win with a loaded offensive surrounding cast and an elite defense?

We don't really have to wonder, because he's got 3 more regular season games and at least one playoff game to show us who he is as a QB.

The only thing we can all agree on so far though is this: "So far, so good!"

But outside of that I like what I'm seeing - we have great shot at getting to the NFC Championship game w Purdy.

After that will be tough in Philly and in the Super Bowl but we def have a chance when our season should be over with a 3rd string QB!

Keep playing well Brock.

Brock is a rookie. He'll make bad reads and get baited into picks.
Sea fans hated me tonight and it only added to the experience

Philly is so overrated.

Nah, they're legit, Philly and SF. Rest of nfc is trash.

what about the cowboys? i heard they're actually good this time

Well with the way it's playing out, if we take care of business, we wouldn't face both Philly and Dallas. It would be one or the other as they will have to play each other.
We could definitely end up playing Dallas, depending on who wins and who loses. The Eagles will always get the lowest seed.

He leads all rookie QBs with 6 TDs btw.

Rich Eisen had a segment about a question his 11-year-old raised - Can Purdy win Offensive Rookie of the Year? If he plays the last three games like these first three I think he's in that conversation.

I'd say he has to be a LOCK if he continues for the remainder of the year at this rate.
Toughed it out through an injury on the road vs. a rival on a short week with a chance to clinch the division…count me as impressed! Doesn't look like a rookie out there, let alone a 7th Rounder. Has really contributed in playing a key part towards this team winning with very good, complementary football.
Love these

He does seem cool under pressure, but we'll wait and see when the stakes are higher in the playoffs. No Joe comparisons until he at least has 2 rings.

No it's not possible. Eagles and Dallas will play each other unless something crazy happens like we end up #1 seed.
kid's a f**ker baller. Definitely consider giving him a rest next week to heal properly. Commies are trash and no need to get any film on him if he plays.

no doubt. I don't want to get too far ahead here, but the last three weeks hsve been surreal.

SO FAR:
1. he doesn't have elite physical traits
2. he doesn't have a cannon arm
3. he seems to have elite processing ability and reads the field really well.
4. he has incredible poise. no panic. doesn't flinch
5 he moves well in and out of the pocket
6. good accuracy
7. good touch
8. high football iq and situational awareness
9. tough
10. looks like he is having and playing for fun..
Broken oblique and ribs, showed no signs of pain even though it was hurting. Playoff atmosphere against what many would call the hardest stadium to play in. Against a division opponent that knows your system inside and out. Division title and Clinching playoffs on the line.

- Showed poise
- Controlled the offense and made plays when it MATTERED.
- Gave credit to team, not just himself

DUB CITY BOYS!!
Brock has a fast ball, but he really does not use it often. I noticed it on a few throws last game, but he really only had "good" ball velocity on that BA drop.

I think Brock is worried about throwing catchable balls, or ball placement with his more pedestrian throws.
I suppose that is a good thing as long as he is not getting picked off.
