Rich Eisen had a segment about a question his 11-year-old raised - Can Purdy win Offensive Rookie of the Year? If he plays the last three games like these first three I think he's in that conversation.

Well, Purdy did this in his rookie season, Rodgers and Garoppolo sit on the bench for three and two seasons respectively and learn from Hall of Famers before starting in the NFL.

I'm like.. is it a mature johnny manziel that panned out? Something about him reminds me of someone, I just cant think of who. Maybe he just kind of looks like Drew Lock with a helmet on lol

I think Drew Brees is a reasonable comparison, in terms of playstyle: Accurate, a little small, but elusive and able to move around the pocket well. Leader. Good decision-maker. Brees wasn't known for being a great deep ball thrower out of college (but he did mature to the point that he could make all the throws at an elite level).
