I mean, brock with adversity put them in position to win - he played poor for the game but answered the question they said was the last thing he needed to do before they could crown him

Moody missed everything in warmups, dude was just off. Wind swirled all game but it was dead during his last kick.

He is. And the media will probably talk about the 49ers more this week than they have in all the weeks combined. Don't care. This season isn't about going undefeated, but winning the Super Bowl.

Tim Ryan said there was a strong side wind during warm-ups and Moody was trying to gauge how much to compensate. He finally seemed to have it figured out by the end of warm-ups but then the wind stopped. It was sporadic as the game went on.

From the TV angle, it looked like the final kick started to move back to the left but then straightened out and missed on the right.

Not a good game. Definitely his worst game yet. The rest of the offense didn't do him any favors. It was bound to happen eventually. Now the question is how does he respond to a bad game.

It's not a "bad game" if Moody makes the kick.

Yes it is. Moody making the kick is irrelevant to how he played. He had a great first drive. He led a 2 min drive (where Aiyuk did yhr heavy lifting) to get us into position to attempt a GW kick. He was bad everything in between.

I give Brock a D grade today. Were there plenty of reasons why he didn't have a good game? Absolutely. Those reasons are the reasons I didn't give him an F.
Welp. At the end of a tough game, inside of 2 minutes, he drove the offense down the field, on the road, against the #1 defense, without McCaffrey and Deebo, and put the team in position to win. Which is exactly what all the critics wanted him to do.

But of course… nobody will talk about it because Moody was off by 6 inches
With that being said, I will take absolutely nothing away from Brocks performance today. It was wet. Ball slipped out of his hands a few times. He lost weapons..he was under constant pressure. Anyone trying to take anything away from today and using that to judge Brock on, simply isn't being fair.

My original comment was more tongue-in-cheek about the outcome rather than an excuse for BP's play. Obviously, this was a poor game for him, especially by the standard he has set for himself in his previous games.

Yeah, my view isn't changed of Brock because of this. The o line got their ass handed to them - I'm curious to see the stats of how many times they were beat. Idk if I've ever seen an o Line beat that bad so often.

brock isn't innocent, he missed a lot of throws he usually hits, but he was under so much pressure. The wind was ridiculous, lost his two biggest weapons (the gameplan was clearly built around them too). It's a good learning experience - we weren't going to win every game.

im surprised we even came close to winning. Lol the refs really screwed us on the browns last drive - two horrific calls that gave them life. The NFL needs to do something about that. Those were just TERRIBLE calls at the end of a game. They shouldn't be doing that.

With all the gambling access, I really don't think there is anyway the refs aren't gambling. I'm curious the measures they take to stop it but doesn't mean they aren't placing bets through others. Too many degenerate gamblers out there.
