It's my annual quest to hope and pray a 49er QB gives us a 4k season

something special about that number, and it means more than anything, the guy is playing the season healthy
looks like today wasn't very crisp for Purdy.

thr good news is that Brock seems to be very good consistently in the move the ball period

This is encouraging. I'm not worried about the picks. He threw a bunch in practice last season.

I'll worry about the picks if it translates to the season, so we will see. Brock is really aggressive, so I feel like he's just attempting stuff in practice, but idk.

Exactly. In practice he can be aggressive. That way in games if he gets similar looks, but the looks are more favorable, he'll be likely to pull the trigger. Shanny actually wants this. This is why you saw a lot of his passes "almost" but weren't picked last season. Shanny is gonna design plays around that, I'm positive of that. But Shanny encourages his QB's to be aggressive within his scheme. Plus, he's going up against the best defense in the league, who know their plays to boot. So I'm not worried at all.

Yeah, Kyle has talked a lot about that. He doesn't like his QBs to be gunshy. He wants his qb to trust what he sees and gun it. Brock does that.

you also have to take chances on these shots, you don't want the first time they're trying it to be in the game. You want him to have experience with those looks and get a feel for it.

Yep, Shanny has even said he encourages QBs in practice to "let it rip." That way they get a feel for what works and what doesn't.

Purdy did the same thing in TC last year.

Also, if you read down in that tweet, one of the picks was a contested ball that was knocked around.
like Damon Bruce said in his recent rant...does anyone know how many INTs Dan Marino threw in camp back in the day? no, because it wasnt tracked by the media and because no one cared.

He's completely right. INTs don't matter in practice if your coach wants you to be aggressive and attempt more challenging throws. Shanny's QBs play more disciplined in real games and Brock has already shown us that he can play under control and protect the football when it matters. Anyone questioning him because of these meaningless picks is reaching big time.

Hell yeah, TC and practice are the best settings for him to push the boundaries and test his limits. Especially against our D. Well, most of our D.
