The difficult part is that a majority of our success since harbaugh was through the run game, so that kinda limits the passing game unless everything is going perfect.

kyles system is a little different and I believe Brock can average at least 235, just needs to remain efficient, accurate for YAC, and continue to hit the chunk plays that jimmy would usually ignore. Jimmy could of hit it if he would of hit more plays north of 7 yards an attempt. Lol I'm partially joking about the jimmy thing, but I think you get what I'm saying.

All Purdy needs to do is break 4,000 this season and the franchise job is his! 🙏🏻

Beat Hurts beat Mahomes win the Super Bowl. That's the standard. Same as it was for Jimmy. We have gone and lost but now we need to win. When a QB does that he's minted as the franchise

We've been a run first team pretty much since Mooch left. From nolan on up til present day. We just need to win the superbowl pass or run makes no difference

Well I like kyles balance, in comparison to mooch, Nolan, Singletary, harbaugh etc. the pass and run eat off of each other. Obviously the run is critical for this offense but it doesn't just go flat like harbaughs did if they run game wasn't there.

but yes, we need to win a damn super bowl. Tired of losing them and tired of coming up short.

selfishly, I'd like to see a badass dominant pass game just because it's fun to watch but idc what It takes - as long as we win it all. I think we have an excellent chance this year. I think our d line is goin to be amazing. Drake and Kinlaw are going to really surprise people and I think we will have a better overall d line rotation than Philly did last year. Maybe not as many sacks but a lot and we will have a better run d than they had, IMO.

if we can do that… our offense is going to score like crazy. A lot of blowouts like what we saw with Purdy down the stretch

I got a feeling Dallas will win the East. With all the losses Philly took this offseason I don't think they'll be as strong.

I've been saying this all off season. I think Dallas is going to be a bigger problem than Philly. I think Philly will be good but not have as dominant of a D, especially once that has the same pass rush, losing hargrave was a big deal. They have some good young talent but they're rookies.

i just hate Philly and want them to lose but I really think the cowboys will be a bigger problem cause they're a more complete team. Dallas's issue will be health with their o line and RB. They don't really have depth or a bruiser this year and are gojng to try and depend on their run game more to lessen daks turnovers.

i just hope we kick the sh!t out of both of them.

Yup, agree 💯%

can't wait for the games to start! Hopefully we tear up the Steelers.

i wonder if Brock is the time to want to ball out against someone like Pickett - who was the first person drafted in his draft and he was the last, you know to show that it should of been him.

he's a well mannered humble guy but he def has a fire to him and competitiveness. So that would be awesome if he blew them out and Pickett struggles. Lol
I hope he does blow the raiders out! Or maybe Trey or Sam will!
I'd love to see Brock just uncork a couple of 50+ yard TD passes against the Raiders just to shut up the folks who think he can't throw deep. That should give a lot of defensive coordinators less sleep when facing the 49er offense in the regular season.

Brock is showing better touch/accuracy outside the numbers at 30 yards than Jimmy for sure. Jimmy couldn't hit those to save his life with his fast release/arm angle. We should never have lost against the Chiefs. Scored 0 points on like 4 drives in a row with Jimmy completely missing/ not seeing wide open receivers, repeatedly. This has been his career. With NE he had a better system with Belechik and would have won at least one sb. Oh well. Now we have a D qb in Darnold, and still who knows qb's in Trey and Brock. This has to be it for 500 Kyle.
Shanny described BCB as "The Real Deal" yesterday, KS doesn't normally say things like that

I feel like we will see some deep throws, if he plays in preseason. If not, def in the Steelers game - just to set the tone on tape that he's more than capable and will attack it.

If you go back and watch the tape, not just his highlights - he hit so many great tight window throws, had them team in great position to consistently score and most importantly - always delivered when the team needed it most. It was a small sample but historically impressive.

No he really doesn't. I don't even recall him saying stuff like that about Jimmy (not that he hasn't, I just can't ever remember it happening). Kyle loves Brock. I think he believes he's the perfect guy to run the system -- he executes things generally super well but also is a playmaker who can do things that Jimmy rarely or simply couldn't pull off himself.

I think that was the vision for Trey when we got him, honestly. A playmaker who knew how to take care of the ball while possessing the football IQ and smarts to learn how to execute the system at a masterful level in due time. Brock came along and with his XP at the position and lightning processing speed made it look easy. Dude was doing things an established vet in Jimmy hadn't been able to.

To me, Brock is the easy #1, but I also kind of look at Trey as 1B. He doesn't seem to need much else at this point except more playing time and I feel like we can rest comfortably knowing that we're good either way at QB.

KS loves BCB because his play is replicated from practice to the game, he has mentioned this before.... Shanny is OCD and he likes predictable performances, he loves it that the guy BCB is in practice is the same dude performance wise in the games, for the most important position on the team... and it helps that BCB is uber talented in many areas as a QB

Don't agree that TL is 1B, Shanny has wood for Sammy, he seems to love him as well to the point of being a preference...

Real business decision is who the QB3 be? That will be KS big decision on final cut downs

I guess we'll see on that. Personally, I don't see any way Lance goes from #1 last year to #3 this year without having a terrible camp and taking a step back, which hasn't been happening. Even if there was a tie in TC/pre-season performance, it'd be hard to imagine that decision going to Sam. He's still learning the offense and simply is not the same caliber athlete.
