I mean, this is the problem with society as a whole. We have done away with merit. Any moron can get a job like this, when said moron should probably be out digging holes.

The author has zero logical sense. He says, about Purdy, "he is the "real deal" instead of a "one-hit-wonder."" The author follows this with, "it may not take a first-round pick to swing a deal for him. Parting with a couple of second, third, or fourth-round picks over the next two years would be a win-win." No guy, it would not be a win for the 49ers. It's not about where you drafted a guy, it's about what that player brings to the table. If you believe Purdy is the real deal, then Purdy is worth a s**t ton. Not just a singular first round pick, but multiple, especially given his current cost.
