In the offseason they need to square away the special teams and the right side of the OL.

Off-season priorities should be:

1. Shore up CBS
2. Backup vet QB that can still win games if Lance gets injured
3. Right side OL improvement
4. Special Teams improvements

Ummm Edge rusher
Where is Kittle?

Lance just lead a FG drive in 36 seconds with no timeouts and people are still s**tting on him lol.

He threw the ball right to a DB & got lucky BA cleaned it up on the sideline.

Most would've counted that as an INT for Jimmy, just saying.

So true

Who gives a s**t about Jimmy anymore? More than likely he's never going to play another snap for us.

After what Trey has shown I'm starting to believe we may keep Jimmy next year

Oh that would make some people SO happy, right Ring.
The one strength he was supposed to bring to the team was his ability to run, and he can't even do that well.

No accuracy
No leadership
No touch
No strength
No speed
No elusiveness
No spirals
No poise

f**k me.
That last drive was promising minus the tipped ball. I'd rather he go out aggressive and throw some picks at this point than just sit there and 3 and out over and over. It's clear he can't sustain a 10 play 90 yard drive, but he can probably string 2 or 3 25 yard passes together and open up the run game.

Lance…my god. The kid does NOT see the field—AT ALL. Borderline scary.

It seems as if the game is to fast for him now. Now offseason comming, he needs to work on progressions and mechanics, the ball has to come out quicker. The playcalling is simmilar, yet the execution is not there.
So keeping the kid gloves on with Lance is Shanahan's way of saying he's not ready. It's anybody's guess when he will be ready.

Ok so was not able to watch the first half. Just walked in and saw the FG. Can someone catch me up on what happened. I have to say I was surprised to see no points when I walked in.

Anybody?

Play call is run run run run
The kid made a not forced INT...and almost another one in the last minute of the 2nd quarter.
A pair of good throws.

Talent is deff there. Just needs to get the ball out faster and more accurate , that's all mental, he can make all the throws

Most concerning part of Trey's game is that he throws so many wobbling passes. Decision making, speed of game, hopefully that comes. But anyone that gets to this level should at least be able to throw a consistent spiral.

Manning didn't. Wobbly wobbly wobbly. Stop posting

lol what?

Manning threw a lot of wobblers as well. Did you never watch him play lol?

clearly you never did.

Some great throws by Lance on that last drive.
Hope Shanahan let's him rip.

Great??

I guess the bar is too low now.

I think the slant pass was on the money. I thought the pass to Aiyuk down the sideline was a good throw. Defender made a great play and got his fingers on it and Aiyuk did a great job of catching the deflected pass.

Shanahan has to give Lance more attempts so he can get in some rhythm. Lance didn't play well for most of that first half but he was good on that last drive.

Disappointed there are no designed roll outs, TE drag routes that are easy completion calls that help a young QB get into rhythm.

There have been PLENTY of open receivers. Lance simply doesn't see them.
Which is why you call plays that are easy for the QB to complete them.
Hopefully that first half jitters is out the way and the kid plays loose now. We still got this game

Certainly Eli did.
