Sad news. Stan Kwan was a #49ers assistant special teams coach from 2017-20.

After learning that Stan Kwan passed in his sleep due to a heart attack at age 54. I reflected on our time working together with 49ers. Condolences to the @49ers , Kwan family and all who knew him. Longtime NFL assistant coach and San Diego State alum that started coaching in the NFL with the Chargers in 1991. He was on the staff of the Chargers team that the 49ers faced in the Superbowl. He went on to coach with Detroit, Arizona, Buffalo and New Orleans as well.

Heart attack.

Scary. Was only 54 and seemingly in good shape.
