Unless Jimmy's hurt game one or we are up 3 TDs on the third quarter, I honestly doubt he has 3 attempts.

I'm not looking forward to the new blocking rule. I hope it doesn't result in cancelling out some of those long runs we see from Mostert. If they keep adding these rules the only thing left to add will be the flags on the ball carriers hips.

The QB is so protected now that even old QBs are saying it's a joke. You can't block a guy high and low anymore. You can't lead with your helmet even though it's pretty hard not to when you are diving in to make a tackle. After all your head is at the top of your body. Now you can't block below the waist on running plays. I suppose the next rule will be that receivers must have a 3 yard cushion before you can tackle them like the punt returners have.

I know they're trying to make the game safer but are they? Maybe they're just making it more complicated for the officials. Injuries still happen. It's a violent game. The more penalties they add the more stoppage of play we get so the officials can confer or look at the replay. We have about 12-15 minutes of actual play in the typical NFL game. Most football games now exceed the 3 hour window on a regular basis so they often end up joining the next game in progress or starting it on another channel. Please stop making the game harder for the officials. They have a tough enough time getting things right as it is.

This has been one hell of an off-season. From the moment they traded up to #3, there's been something interesting to talk about.

Our Niner Island group changed sports bar for 1st time since Alex Smith draft. Solid food and tvs, menu has additional options of tacos and pasta dished plus looks like prime rib night sometimes!!! They have salads too

to which new blocking rule are you referring? The biggest rule changes I've noticed are in the favor of the style offense we run. Now DB's won't be able to hurl themselves at the knees of our linemen out on the edge.
