49ers sign TE MyCole Pruitt

I don't know much about MyCole (is that pronounced Michael?). Dwelley is a solid player but I don't see him as someone that is entrenched at TE2. Woerner, as a rookie with no OTAs was not going to unseat Dwelley in 2020. If Woerner improves he could be competing with Dwelley for snaps.

MyCole is a good rated good run blocker so that gives him a legit chance at TE3 at the very least (similar to Levine Toilolo). It could be a dogfight between those three for the two backup TE positions.

The 49ers aren't gonna just release Dwelley, they'd trade him so they don't eat $920K, with the cap dropping you can't afford to eat cap room.

Pederson is Doug Pederson's son(Former Eagles HC, I think Doug is his first name, the guy who decided to pull Jalen Hurts on SNF week 17).

Dwelley really grew on me. I think he's a pretty damn good redzone and overall receiving target. I don't think any other TE on the roster currently besides maybe Pruitt will win the #2 spot.
