Salary Cap

If the Seahawks had more cap space than us they wouldn't be replacing Shaquille Griffin with Akhello Witherspoon. Also, the Rams lost 3 defensive starters along with a solid TE and WR depth.

I definitely know they don't have anywhere near the space we have. And i know they do loose players but it always seem they are able to sign a huge name or trade for a huge name every year. I know they loose capital doing this but it still infuriates me.

I just learned SEA will be releasing Jarran Reed. Even after signing Hyder, that's a net loss.

That's another thing that always pisses me off. Seahawks always sign are players. And the only reason they do that is not because they are any good, its to give them intel on our players................Can't stand them at all.

I think we go after who we need and sign who we want and we always seem to have room in our cap to be players in free agency. We don't seem to put ourselves in salary cap hell. I can't speak for the Rams/Cardinals, but I'll comment about the Seahawks:

In my opinion, the Seahawks do not handle the Draft and Free Agency well. It feels very much to me that, yes, they have Russell Wilson, but they've failed to surround Russ with what he needs. The Seahawks gave up two 1sts, a fringe starting Safety in Bradley McDougald, and swapped mid-rounders with the Jets to get Jamal Adams, an elite Safety. While it's splashy, that's draft capital that could've been used to directly/indirectly target quality offensive linemen. Their weak o-line really hampers Russell Wilson and it's no surprise he's been unhappy with the Seattle FO.

Russell Wilson is a top 5, franchise level QB that carries the Seahawks every year to the playoffs. But they fail to really build correctly, and that's why I think they've failed to advance past the divisional round since the 2014 Super Bowl. Russ can only take them so far.

They make splashy moves like trading for Adams to try and push themselves over the top each year, but it ends up that their team isn't deep enough to advance far into the playoffs.
