I don't blame JJ for trying - I would too.
But he has likely reached his NFL ceiling and will always be a 3 (maybe a 2 in certain offenses.)
Always liked how he played, great blocker and fiesty.
Hope it ends well for him.
I can't say a bad thing about him. I would take him back at the right price no doubt.
Same! it would lock up the WR room for next year too completely eliminate it as a need going into the draft
I would love that.
+ Team will likely have injuries - great depth.

he signed yet?

The windows are: after the draft; before camp; before season starts; then to fill injured players. I'm guessing someone will pick him up at market price after the draft.

I have to think he severely overvalued himself and his market, it's obvious that he wants too much money, he probably should have taken the 49ers reported 3yr $45M extension he was offered last year, I just wonder where he'd fit on the team now with Evans, Kirk, Pearsall(if healthy), Robinson right now, I know he'd be the 4th at worst, but idk if you can justify spending more than what they did on Evans, no way I'm giving him anywhere near the $20M he apparently wants/wanted, it'd have to be lower than Evans IMO.

I know he and Juice play different positions but I think Jennings has some similarities in his overall value proposition. With Juice, if he expects 10mil a year, you start thinking about just getting another good tight end instead. With Jennings, he is a great blocker and great on third down, but once you get into the 20mil+ range, you start thinking about getting a guy that keeps you from getting into those clutch situations in the first place.

The odds of Ricky staying healthy are incredibly slim and Kirk is nothing more than a WR4. JJ would still be a huge part of the offense and a needed piece.

I'm sure Mike Evans also f**ked the market for some of these other guys. You still have T Hill and Diggs also not signed.

He's play the big slot and would probably Excell at it while providing backup support for two frequently injured outside receivers. That said a slot shouldn't be paid more than 10-12 million per year max.

Definitely, Evans signing for $14.1M a yr definitely makes it harder for someone like Jauan, Hill, & Diggs to potentially get more than he did, especially from us IMO.

I highly doubt Juice will want anywhere near $10M a yr, as for Jauan, if he's wiling to take less than what Evans got then sure, sign him.

What on God's Green Earth would cause a statement like that? He's played for exactly one season. ONE. And based upon that ONE season, you are going to proclaim that his odds of staying health are incredibly slim?
I want a WR who is happy to get the opportunity that has been extended to him. I don't know if JJ is that person anymore.

This is false. He has actually played two seasons. TWO.

Incorrect, he's played in 20 games. Far from two seasons

I think a good landing spot for him would be the Bills, idk if they have the cap room to fit him. Tampa would be a good spot for him too. He could be the 3rd option behind Ebuka & Godwin, that's his ideal place to be and he would help their run game.
