Anywhere you have that needle bouncing off bone is gonna be painful i'd imagine. I don't see how people do it. My 20yo daughter just completed a large piece on the inside of her left bicep and I just cringe at the thought of it. I have 2 smaller tat, in some of the least painful places. Shoulder blade and my Niners tat top of my right arm/shoulder, which both look like s**t. The Niners tat isn't awful, but I drew it and told the artist "I want something like this". He tatted my exact drawing, to include the eraser smudges , and mind you I'm no artist.

I'm thinking that'd be the most painful thing that could happen to a guy, the most painful thing I ever had done is being catheterized twice cause well I wasn't able to go.

I hear you on the fear of needles thing. I have the same thing, so I forced myself to go through with it to try and overcome that fear. I didn't overcome $#!+ but I definitely got addicted to getting tattooed lol. I have a chest piece/half sleeve and a sleeve on my leg. All comic book nerd stuff

Yeah, I can imagine, I don't get the whole head tattoos, I get for guys who lose their hair, like have hair on the sides, but none on top, and want it to look like they have it, but some I've seen, DAMN, has to hurt, no thanks.
