I hope John called Omar Khan on his bs if they truly offered him that for BA. I would hang up the phone on that clown so quick

Yes those names mentioned above are all ass. They may be fine players, but none of them are on the same level as BA. Even combined. I would really hate this trade if a first, Watt, Pickems, Fryermouth, Polamalu, Bettis, Naked Harris are not involved in some way

I hope so Fro. I hope BA comes to his senses and signs our extension. Just lunacy to want to go to that team

John wasn't wrong, and neither am I.
Watching the Steelers fans on (formerly) twitter is hilarious. Such arrogance for a deal that may not get done 🤣🤣🤣🤣

my personal favorites were the "BA bullied the niners FO into trading him here" posts

the 49ers didnt want to keep their best wr ..didnt want to pay
I still think he may sign here. But who knows? It's like a pile of junk for Aiyuk. That makes no sense. We can have him potentially 2 more years and then franchise tag him. So 3 years if we wanted to play hardball. You don't play a weak hand in that situation. Unless you are stupid.

KNBR just said the Pats put a late 1st on the trade (30s) but Aiyuk said he wouldn't sign an extension there.

He's in control of where he goes.

I know, I've been saying fir a while he has more control than people thought

People are operating as if the 49ers don't have a good measure of control as well. I'm tired of this sh!t. Time to sh!t or get off the pot. This has gotten ridiculous. We can pick up his 5th year option then trade him to the Pats, then let them franchise him his a$$.

Or, don't trade him. He either plays for us or sit out the season. We're treating him as if he has all the control. He really don't. The 49ers can control his right through 2025 at the very least.

Now, I will say that I don't think this is on Lynch. This whole mess is on Paraag Marathe. This has been mishandled from the very beginning. They thought, because they had more leverage, and because Aiyuk likely really want's to be a Niner, that they could play this level of hardball with him. I don't think that they anticipated that he'd take it this personal. Now, you can say that players shouldn't take this business personally but the fact of the matter is that they do, right or wrong. They knew a long time ago that they weren't gonna be able to sign him. This is what happens when front offices play this leverage game with players.

All sounds good, but all of your other players agents are watching too. You take that stand and they won't deal with you either, in fact those agents will tell their non-49ers players to stay away.

Also, the other team will give you much less in return for a 1 year rental and having to use their franchise tag.

lol. Perfect 😂
Mike Tomlin knows Ayiuk wants to play for him yet he also knows Pitt is unwilling to give up the players 49'ers want. 49'ers hold the leverage.

Ayiuk will stay in SF for 2024 and Vegas ends up losing big money on the bet since Ayiuk didn't take the cash from New England.

This seems to be the trend.
