I'm with you and don't understand some of the angst. Sherfield looks really good… good enough to allow Kyle to grab Aiyuk by the short and curlies.

Might as well trade him before Kyle kills his value. We should just draft more talentless WRs like Trent Taylor and Hurd. f**k guys who are good
They cleared that boob again?

Couldn't disagree more. If it's true that he took that foot off the gas because he bought into all that off-season hype and thinks he "made it" while you have an UDFA who has busted his ass since entering the league and fought for everything he's got, the correct message was sent. This is such a cupcake sports world we live in now it's pathetic, these guys think they are owed everything. You let guys do that s**t and that's how you get the Antonio Brown diva type receivers. He already had a guy he had all that confidence in that let him and the team down because he never saw the need for "urgency", out of his own mouth, in Pettis. Can it be that Shanny learned from that and is trying to prevent that from happening again? That's what I think

and almost a td (which was better than Jefferson) and was killing it the first part of camp. I Remember him whipping good number 1 cbs throughout the year as well. Originally posted by DRCHOWDER:
Kyle's dealt with great receives like Julio Jones, so I'm on his side.

People seem to forget Aiyuk was on an absolute tear with garbage passing to him the last 6 full games he played. He was averaging 9 receptions per game for over 90 yards a game 94.6 yards/game)and almost a td (which was better than Jefferson) and was killing it the first part of camp. Let the man play, he may need to work a little harder but we can easily lose a game or 2 bc our coach wanted to make an example out of him. That could mean the difference between winning the division or even a wild card.
I feel like telling Shanahan the line from die hard:
Hans! You motherf**ker, you made your point. Now let them pull back!

I think Kyle made his point - now put him back in the starting lineup and let him play.
