I doubt it, the NIL is a glorious opportunity for the non first round picks.

Hey clearly violated the terms of their agreement which made it possible for them to void all his GTD cash. The fact that he didn't fight it at all kinda backups the idea that he was in the wrong.

Instead of coming to do his job which means getting healthy with the team's resources. He chose to ghost the team. He's lost a ton of cash that he will never recoup. He could have done his job and helped this team down the stretch. The fan base and FO would have forgave him if he did that. Instead he did the opposite….it's wild for many reasons, I mean Lynch's BF is both their agent. Awkward

It's one possible explanation, but I don't think it's the most likely one. It's important to specify they voided his future guarantees, which would be offset to some degree by a new contract with another team.

I think it's pretty clear he wants to move on from the 49ers and control his own destiny, whether that be playing for the team of his choosing or ultimately walking away from the game. Would you agree he has zero interest in remaining a 49er?

If I had to guess , Aiyuk has Little Prince Syndrome . It's when someone is brought up by a single mom who treats him like a prince to the point that it inhibits responsible behavior . The child is consistently catered to without learning about the needs of others, they struggle with expectations of special treatment in social or professional settings later in life.

So, if he shows up but doesn't do much cause he is out of shape and/or doesn't want to do anything, walks around a little, kicks some shorts around, does this count as participating? I kinda doubt he shows up, how awkward would that be? He has ghosted the s**t out of the FO, I don't expect it to change. Not sure he is even interested in another team. So, maybe he will be fined but doesn't sign with another team..so it's not paid and just sits in the back until 2029? This ain't good for BA at all. I think he doesn't play football anymore. Smh should have traded him.
I'm glad FO is sticking it to him, at least for the time being, and not just letting him get his way (release) like some in here thought he would. F**k him. Let him rot.

He didn't skip just rehab sessions. He skipped required team meetings too. He didn't challenge the voiding of his guarantees because he wanted out of the contract as much as the front office did. Also, LOL @ the fan base and FO forgiving him. He literally showed up AFTER getting his contract guarantees voided and they still wanted to get rid of him. This fan base was still shitting on him throughout his injury/rehab. A lot of our fans got upset with him when it was the 49ers front office that completely botched his contract negotiation. Paraag was the one that kept ghosting Aiyuk during those negotiations while telling Lynch to get rid of him. I mean, we actually called up the Vikings to see if they were interested in trading Justin Jefferson days before he got his extension...

This is what I was getting at with my last post to NY, and had brought it up before in this thread.

Appreciate the rest of the post too.
imagine trying to place the blame on the 49ers when there no one to blame but BA himself

The offset wouldn't be remotely close, especially after breaking his knee in half. You don't lay over when someone takes $30M from you, and with a union to back you up…unless you have "no leg" to stand on.

no one in their right mind would allow that type of cash to slip through their fingers, especially with all the negation BS they had prior…JUST so you could play ball with your buddy.

this has nothing to do with if he has any interest to play for SF….It setting a precedent that you can't just basically steal money from a team and force your way out after the fact.

No one forced him to sign the deal. You can now come into camp play ball for SF (show teams you're healthy and ready to play) and help with making a trade work OR you can do nothing, go AWOL, and not get paid or play football….you could call that controlling his destiny, but it's not the option he mostly wants (SF releasing for nothing).

Not sure what your point is? He didn't meet the expectations of his contract and the team voided the GTD cash. Yes our fan base is petty and whiny. Literally every fan base is. That s**t would have all went a way the moment he played football and made plays. We all know this. Fans are emotional and dumb.

NO ONE forced him to sign his contract, NO ONE forced him to got AWOL. He could have handled it behind closed doors and got his wish in a trade after the fact. He got a fat signing bonus, forgot how to play football, and then got hurt.

NOW SF has the ability to do whatever the f**k they want with him. He made his bed by letting it get to this. Even his own WR coach is asking WTF is he doing.

There's no ohhh poor brandon aiyuk in any of this man. If he's too emotional to handle the business side of it, that's his problem. He handled this about as poorly as you can.

Seems like he has zero interest in playing at all. This is not the behavior of someone who just wants off the 9ers.
