This is obvious, that's been the problem the whole time. I'm shocked anyone even wants to entertain bringing this fool in.
I legit do not think he even wants to play. He's not posting workout videos or anything which he would if he wanted to get anything more than a bare minimum contract. He doesn't even deserve a spot over a player who is actually present and trying to make a roster.
Wow, this is so sad for him and the team. This is almost as bad as the Aldon Smith situation. Just food addiction versus alcohol addiction. Man he looks fat.
How is this even an update? He doesn't wanna be traded to a team other than Washington, same s**t happened right before his contract extension.
NOT his fault ... Lynch and Shanny should have known that YUCK can't be counted on... we shoulda traded him the moment he acted like he had the leverage on us...
man, the dude batted for over .300 one season and made one great diving catch and he thinks he great..
There were some signs he had issues with Kyle. I remember he was in Kyle's doghouse for a while when he was a sophomore on the squad. He was doing OK after being paid millions and before the injuries. That injury may have put him over the top with regards to him wanting to just end his football career. Or that's what it looks to me. Wow, this is insanely weird.

It's annoying how such a talented dude squandered all of this but something is def off with his mental health, in my opinion.
I hope he doesn't hurt anyone or anything. He's on the verge of never playing in the NFL again, which will really hurt him financially.
woukd be nice if we could trade him but I think we wait until sep to cut him.

Players squandering their careers happens more often than I used to think. Aldon Smith, Ruben Foster, to name a couple of recent 49er examples.

I really think we see this more now because athletes are coddled so much when they're young that they have problems dealing with adversity. Injuries, not being the main guy and criticism from the coach are some of the things they don't deal with much in youth, high school and college. Throw in obscene amounts of money that many of them never dreamed they would have and you have a recipe for disaster.

He seemed "off" around negotiation time. But like, a kind of "off" that's been there for a while, like something ain't right with him. I dnt care to analyze and say it could be a,b,c. Doesn't matter at this point. Just something ain't right and ready to move on from this dude and end all of this bs.

The mental part is very hard to forecast.

How is it Shanahan and Lynch's fault, they just wanted to mend things between them before his extension and after. 9ers had a trade in place with the Steelers, but Shanahan talked Aiyuk out of wanting to be traded one last time. If anything Aiyuk b***hed out of being traded because all he wants to do is be with his friend. He could've moved forward with the trade and went to the Steelers, but he's doing the same s**t as last year!!!
why would anyone try to talk anybody to stay if bro wants to leave?? we shoulda traded Deevah the moment he was with the Jett laughing on " WE GONE BABY!! WE GONE "... we're the 49ers, we should not be kissing any players behind.. this is the same problem we had with Al-drunk Smith back then.. we baby sat the fooh.. we baby sat the fooh !!
