BIGGEST b***h IN 49ER HISTORY

It's a toss up between him and Craptree.

Lol no it's not

I agree. Crabtree played 6 seasons with the 9ers and underperformed for his draft position, but didn't pull a crazy like Aiyuk.

It's between Ayuik, Kaepernick, and Aldon for biggest dumbass, but solely "b**ch" like behavior Ayuik squashes Campbell

Exactly

Yeah, I don't see how the 9ers should have a cap hit when not only isn't showing up but won't even pick up the phone. Some think we should hold him tell he reports but then we have this looming unpredictable massive cap hit. Even if his contract is voided with no cap hit there's not really anybody in FA

Did you forget about the part to where a player that has left the team doesn't count against the cap and doesn't tie up a roster spot. The rule was negotiated into the CBA to protect ownership in this instance. We need to hold his right until he's too old to play or he reports and plays again under the Niners terms as someone had said. Before he played again I'd make him come see John Lynch even if it's just so we cut him thereafter

Sure but if he reports then his contract goes back into effect and we already said he played his last down. So we have a 30M cap hit that can walk through the doors at any moment if we hold on to him

Keeping him as described above is a revenge fantasy, lol.

They're going to release him and we'll see if they decide to take the full cap hit next season or designate it post 6/1 and spread it over the next two years.
His agent is suspiciously quiet in all of this. I would think the agent do some damage control. Speak out or do a short statement to put his client in positive light. Did they realized too he's a lost cause lol

I think his agent agrees with the 49ers lol

His agent is very good friends with John Lynch. Very odd situation. I honestly expect Aiyuk to make a change in agents with how this all went down.

Aiyuk has been mostly quiet himself.

We can cut him as soon as he reports without taking that cap hit is my understanding by the wording of the CBA. If not then do a post June 1 cut

We will see. But the wording of the CBA is the wording of the CBA. We are to accrue no expenses nor have to tie up a roster spot as he's defected. He would be kept on that list until he reports to HQ and then if cut him unless someone was stupid enough to trade for him which won't happen. No need for fantasy but just follow the provision in the CBA designed to protect the owners
