but i would trade him for anything if possible even if its a 6th round pick

Trading team will want to restructure his deal, which will give Aiyuk a choice in practice.

He'll just be released IMO.

It's interesting, the Steelers had(have?) an opportunity to keep $45mill because of DK's punch. But they chose not to. They want him around these next few years.

I'm not saying the 9ers should have done the same with Aiyuk... but I feel teams looking for his services will probably put in stipulations that if he leaves the team or some other weird s**t, they can get out of the contract. So although some might not feel so, he might still get paid paid. With that protection, and maybe other incentives.

Yes, Metcalf has a temper problem but slapping a fan is a long way from not meeting contractual agreements and other attitude problems. However, I agree with your point that whoever he may sign with will demand some behavior incentives.

And that's STILL putting it nicely. That fan threw his hands up and celebrated after getting punched/swiped, when he should have fell over the railing and

Imo, DK and the Steelers lucked out. It could have been much worse if the punch did land.

It is a wrong in the sense that if Aiyuk decided to show up next year and play for us then or even worse said he was going to play and faked an injury, we would have to pay him for that season. Niners are not going to do that, just so Aiyuk can't sign elsewhere. Even if Aiyuk came to his senses and went all in with the Niners. They no longer will want him at what they would pay him. Aiyuk is getting released. It is 100% done.

If we win the Super Bowl, I could not care less who gets a ring.

Give the ring to Frank Gore, or does Gore already get one as part of the personnel?

I think he does.
Move this thread to a different part of the forum. It's sickening to keep bringing this guy up .
Let's stop talking about this cancer, who's not even that good.

Basically the tweet said they control his rights and can make s**t just as hard for him as he could for SF. They voided his GTD cash so he's not getting paid. While I find it highly unlikely he "helps" SF with restructuring to help create a trade, it might be in both parties interests to do that.

I mean he was pretty damn good. It's a shame how it all went down. I would love to have the real info on all of this
