Aiyuk was one of my favorite 49ers at one point and is now one of my most hated players in the NFL. I hope he goes to some s**t team and has a very mediocre career from here on out, and I hope the first time me play him, someone on our defense lays him the eff out.

And because he's done the same thing other players in the past have done... you want

Him to have a mediocre career and our players to injure him? And he's your most hated player. Someone who hasn't broke the law... caught doing nasty s**t...etc (he's in a happy relationship with a child).

Again yall act like bitter ex-girlfriends on this forum... not just you Win, many others.

It's not that yall personally hate him because he's done something horrible... but because he has REJECTED YALL! 🤣

Or at least that is how yall are taking it, unfortunately.

Why do you always find a need to defend these (ones that get on fans bad side to be clear) players? I get when you call people out for sounding racist but now you are coming off as a knight protecting someone that doesn't need it. Fans of our team (are you a fan?), are mad he treated our team like crap and feel like he disrespected the team… from what we have heard he refuses to show up, makes snide remarks about the team and constantly says he is out. Until there is more news or facts out this is the evidence fans have to judge. I don't know if WINiner is one of the annoying posters on this site or a good one but what he said comes off as totally normal as a fan. To be clear, as a fan I hope for the same of anyone on the Seahawks, cowboys, chiefs, ravens, etc. Think reasonable as a 49er fan.

I have to go help at a graduation party, so I'll touch on this more... but I've seen it happen before with our FO.

People got pissed at T.O. for stopping a trade to the Ravens, and we were *forced* to trade him for Brandon Whiting and a 3rd Pick. A potential HOFer in his prime, for that s**t. All T.O wanted was to get paid for his play... the FO didn't know how to handle him. Back then he also was a player that didn't get in trouble with the law. But was caught up in the media game and he didn't know how to handle it (or at least thought he was handling it the right way because he was being honest and they were not).

They tried to screw T.O. and it back fired lol. And we were left with s**t. Our running game all the sudden sucked the next year.. because we didn't have the threat of T.O. and his run blocking.

But there are other examples where the front offices turn their gullible fans against star players to save face when they lose them. That has happened in England with Newcastle United and Alexander Isak.. like that is their team.. they are hardcore fans... supposedly follow the news of the team but can't put two and two together and can't see how the team was using the media to trick them. And they thought they would be much better... they claimed they made that player... well that is not the case. They have struggled without their finisher and have dropped from the top 5 (Champions League qualifying) and are in the middle of the pack. They are still in denial and s**t on Isak every chance they get when they need to worry about their situation. The Manager has been an issue for a while now, but they have been in denial about him. Put him up on some pedal stool, it's such a trip to watch. (But yes Isak has struggled to start the season)

But yeah it's how I wish folks viewed their own life.. their own family... their own friends. Politics.. etc. Look deeper into situations. Why stuff happened. Be real about it. Learn from it. Don't be a homer.

Someone mentioned earlier that Aiyuk wants to be part of an offense that passes more... I heard from Aiyuk's himself say his issue with the Super Bowl was... when he got a certain amount of passes thrown his way through out that whole year, the offense and team was successful. In the Super Bowl he was getting open, yet we were throwing it to Deebo locked up against the best CB in the league that year. It confused him and made him think if there were other reasons to not go his way. I mean do yall remember when Raheem Mostert went crazy in the playoffs and single handily got us to the Super Bowl in 2019? YET to start the Super Bowl Kyle had Tevin Coleman taking all the carries to start the game for God knows how many series, before going back to Mostert?

I just don't think s**t as simple as a player is horrible...a cancer... bla bla. When we have seen teams screw players, at the team/fans expense, for their own weird reasons ($$$ or control).

So yeah I'm curious to see more s**t come out about this whole Aiyuk situation. He was an All Pro who blocked his ass off, ran his routes, and caught his passes... making incredible plays. Celebrated with his teammates. He is far from troubled players we have seen in the past. How did we (the team, FO) f**k it up from their end. Aiyuk f**ked it up by giving them a reason to break the contract. But was it worth it from our end? Many here think he will suck going forward. JUST like many said T.O. would suck.. continue to drop passes..etc when he left. But that wasn't the case. The only good thing we have now is a more competent GM than we had back then... so I'd think Lynch will find some solution eventually, but I hope it doesn't take a few seasons.

Edit- great now I'm going to be late to the graduation.

You have a lot going on here and it would be long to tackle everything so I'll keep it short…

sounds like you get awfully attached to players (which is understandable being a fan) but I try and separate player from team. Team is forever while players come and go (unless legends that live forever by the team). So I think my earlier comment and questions stand. Love aiyuk but he obviously hates this team now for whatever reason so he is no longer my concern and thanks for the memories but see you later.

I also support players trying to get as much money as they can and fans not worrying about that either. Players are worth what they can get (it is a business and have to pay market rate) and should maximize their value. In the end it is not the fans money no matter how people think so if they buy a ticket. If you stop buying someone else will.

i do disagree with any point that thinks our coaching staff or front office intentionally sabotages the team or players out of spite. Shanahan would probably sacrifice his entire reputation for one Super Bowl win. If he thought feeding aiyuk in the Super Bowl would've done that then he would have. Maybe in hindsight he regrets not doing it but who knows.

Oof that is right

In his video with his homies, he made it clear he would rather be with Daniels in Washington than here.

I'm not attached to players... I respect what our players do for the team...the fans. They put their body on the line.

No I don't think Aiyuk hates the team... I think he loves his teammates, and his teammates love him. Or at least the ones who understand his situation, because either from their own experience...or from the experience of someone else they know.

I feel he doesn't want to put his body on the line for the front office and Kyle though. He's thinking long term. He had a devastating injury last year, and still there were s**t talked about him by the fans when he was at his lowest..and that was just what was said publicly. God knows what kind of messages he received behind the scenes (maybe he'll reveal some messages before joining his new team). But also his front office tried to trade him before he could get up and piss on his own.

From his youtube page.
"They was talking bout trading me while I was off percocets/muscle relaxers and peeing in a cup by my bed!" Aiyuk said. "Couldn't walk for 10 weeks ain't nobody trading for me 🤣💀"

I mean....how would you take that from the front office? So the trust was all bad again after the drama field negotiations (which the 9ers are the ones who chose to start the drama).

And as far as the coaches/F.O. making certain decsions regarding players... I didn't say it was out of spite... more so because of $$$ or control, or both. We've seen many past examples of teams screwing players out of money. He'll it seemed like they were trying to do that to Kendrick Bourne.. he helped save our season, with Mac Jones, then barely got any passes after that.. which so happened to be when he came close to his $500,000 incentive.

We saw Mike Dingleberry screw Vernon Davis when he was about to break the TE touchdown record, just because he didn't want Vernon to get a big head going into the next season. I believe it was against the Rams, in St Louis.. last game of the season.. and we didn't try to get him the ball in the endzone, when we had opportunities to.. might have even kept him on the sidelines during those last goal line situations. (Curious to see if any 9er fans remember that)

Dingleberry/F.O. also traded away Shaun Hill because, in his own words, he "didn't want Alex to have to look over his shoulder". Like Shaun was a good backup QB and also won games for us. That made the team worse, if the coaches were actually trying to win long term. Made that decision at the expense of the team and the fans.

There was no reason for Kyle not to use Mostert to start that Super Bowl... who knows how that game could have started. How that could have affected how the Chiefs played on offense, how we played as a defense. But Kyle did it. Mostert single handily helped us beat the Vikings.. like Jimmy only had like 8 passes the whole game?

I'm just saying these Coaches are not perfect... these Front Offices are not perfect. So as much as I love my team, I do look at things from the player's perspective as well. We know Front Offices use the media to push their own narrative. I just feel we should question things any time something doesn't make sense. We shouldn't be homers.

Edit- hell another example...Mike fake suit Nolan... choosing Alex Smith out of no where, with the #1 overall pick because Alex was more of a yes man... someone, insecure ass, Nolan could control. Where as Aaron Rodgers was too confident, and would have smelled the fake stench of Nolan's fake suit. Rodgers would have convinced the York family to get rid of Nolan much sooner.

Mike Nolan single handily screwed the team and the fans, for his own selfish reasons. Because of his insecurities. For control.

I don't have much faith in this WR core. Ricky has been very underwhelming but I know people are just going to use the injury excuse. Your best ability is availability. Now we need to go WR again early when we desperately need OL help.

Well with what we paid Purdy he is supposed to be able to take lemons and make lemonade just like Brady did is my assumption. This team has a top 6 passing offense in terms of yards and productivity and that's in large part due to Kyle, the QBs and CMC. I think folk forget this fact. This is why we paid Purdy and signed Mac Jones is to have competent smart QB play

When you have a coach on the field at QB he can make good decisions and keep the offense on time and get the ball to CMC and Kittle and then guys that don't get a lot of separation like JJ. Smart coaching and QB play mitigates not having All Pros at WR like Tom Brady did

Sure we want WRs like the Rams but right now we will have to do without and Kyle has already said literally that "we can always scheme a way to a win" but players just have to execute consistently. Every game we play will be a dog fight but between Kyle Saleh and Purdy we should have a fighting chance and that's all we can ask. We can address WR separation more this offseason but for right now Aiyuk has shown he leads all our WR in separation as he is outta sight and outta mind. Ex comunicado

Bringing up how "TO was done dirty" with the trade attempt to Baltimore....

TO's agent screwed up by not filing his free agent paperwork, so 49ers still had his rights. That wasn't on the 49ers. So they traded him because they already expected him to be gone. He filed a grievance about it because his AGENT screwed up and got a more favorable trade. 49ers still benefitted more than they would have, so no big deal.

Not even the same situation.

49ers with Donahue as GM and Erickson as HC weren't exactly in a stable position to work with a personality like Owens, which is why they were letting him walk as a free agent anyway.
I'm so happy this cancer is gonna be gone from the team.
I have a feeling he will put up some great numbers somewhere else ..... but will still be toxic
I think KC gets him off of us. Hopefully we make them pay an arm and a leg
I've seen players on the reserve/injured list not reserve/left squad. Kinda nuts.

Maybe Buffalo. They need WRs.
