The true lesson learned is to take into account how players act during negotiations. If they act a fool and turn it messy, go to the media, etc then know that at any point in the relationship it will most likely happen again. Look how Bosa, Warner, Kittle, CMC have treated negotiations, just kept quiet and they let the agents handle it. No BS drama.

The #49ers can now go after a portion of Brandon Aiyuk's signing and option bonus money.

They're expected to go after as much $ as possible. #FTTB pic.twitter.com/GVF2wltgqc

And I would be constantly looking to see who might be found tampering so we can lay the hammer 🔨 down on said teams
I was under the impression that they were still paying him throughout this whole saga. If they BA had been fined during this whole time then they did the right thing. Hopefully our cap gets some relief with this latest news.

AB…err…I mean BA has nobody to blame but himself for this outcome. Should've kept his head down rehabbed and joined the team as soon as he could. And continued to make damn good money. I'm sure FO wouldn't have recouped his bonus money.

Also, the pretending like dude would be remotely the same player or would even be a contributor at this juncture is outlandish.

Trent Williams too. This is professional football and we need to let unprofessional players walk

Game by game incentives to earn. Can't earn those not playing not active and especially if you're violating team rules
We will know more once the dust settles but there are built in tools and incentives he's not hitting the longer he refuses to play ball and we need that money to pay Brock and others worthy of that money so we need to go all in on recouping what we can by any means necessary and without regard to Aiyuk

Everything is racist. I'm from the Deep South so get over it. Some gonna love you some gonna hate. Do your job and get your money. That's what I do that's what I always do.

This is either an unmitigated disaster for the organization, or he simply did not come back the way the docs expected and needs another 6 months, if it ever heals up right. Well find out next year.

This is a blessing in disguise. Kyle didn't want to lose his WR so we overpaid. Now we are out of this s**t contract to an above average WR.
